Fintech company secures over 50,000 sq ft at 100 Avebury Boulevard

Fintech company Xero has taken 56,000 sq ft of office space at 100 Avebury Boulevard, the largest letting in central Milton Keynes for five years.

The company will take space across the fourth and part fifth and sixth floors on a 10-year lease.

The final letting means 100 Avebury Boulevard is now fully let. Other tenants include Shoosmiths, Aimi and IWG’s co-working brand Spaces.

The development comprises a total of 140,000 sq ft of office space and ground floor retail space.

CBRE and Avison Young  acted on behalf of landlord AW James. Vesta London advised Xero.

“To fully let the entire 140,000 sq ft within one month of practical completion is an exceptional outcome, its clearly proves the level of pent up occupier demand in the town for the best space,” said Matt Willcock, head of south east investor leasing at CBRE. “Milton Keynes as an office destination is going from strength to strength and is one of fastest growing towns in the UK with excellent connectivity and continually improving infrastructure”
