Justin and Hailey Bieber Just Bought a $12 Million N.Y.C. Pied-à-Terre

Justin and Hailey Bieber have added another home to their growing real estate portfolio, paying $12 million for a luxury condominium in Manhattan‘s West Village. The purchase was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing property records and people familiar with the deal. It marks the couple’s first known home in New York City and comes as they enter a new chapter—Hailey following the billion-dollar sale of her skincare brand, Rhode, and Justin after releasing his seventh studio album, Swag II, and headlining this year’s Coachella music festival.

Developed by the Ian Schrager Company and designed by the acclaimed firm Herzog & de Meuron, the building was completed in 2017. Overlooking the Hudson River, the distinctive tower is prized among privacy seekers for its on-site garage and porte cochere, offering residents an added layer of discretion when coming and going.

According to the listing, the roughly 2,800-square-foot residence has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths. One of the bedrooms was staged by New York-based luxury design firm Interior Marketing Group as a children’s room, complete with a custom chalkboard wall that the Biebers reportedly kept for their son, Jack Blues.

Property records show the seller was real estate developer Steven Brauser, chairman and CEO of Parkland Group, who purchased the apartment for $10.5 million in 2018. He put it on the market for $12 million in April, according to StreetEasy, and ultimately sold it at the asking price. Adam Heller, Amanda Rosenberg, and Michael Gavin of the Heller Organization represented the seller, while Romy Hechinger of Compass represented the Biebers in the transaction.

Residents have access to a 70-foot indoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, children’s playroom, and private parking. Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin is among the building’s notable homeowners, having paid roughly $43 million for a five-bedroom penthouse in 2018, acquiring the neighboring penthouse from Ryan Seacrest in 2022 with plans to combine the two.

The New York condo is the latest addition to a real estate portfolio that stretches from coast to coast. Their holdings also include a roughly $25.8 million estate in Los Angeles’s exclusive Beverly Park enclave, which serves as their primary residence; a $16.6 million getaway in La Quinta’s ultra-exclusive Madison Club; and a sprawling lakefront retreat in Ontario, Canada, where they famously spent much of the pandemic.
