A little over a decade after Joe Jonas sold his Los Angeles home for $2.9 million following a swift year-and-a-half stay, the pop star’s former residence has once again surfaced for sale. The traditional West Hollywood abode is now going for a speck under $4 million, after first hitting the market in September for $4.5 million. Brent Watson and Marco Salari of The Beverly Hills Estates share the listing, which is also available for rent at $19,500 a month.
Records show the singer, songwriter, and actor—he’s currently starring in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie with his brothers Nick and Kevin—acquired the property in an off-market deal from former Sony Pictures Television exec Sheraton Kalouria in May 2014 for nearly $2.6 million and then promptly turned around and sold the place to a trust linked to interior designer Erin Fetherston and musician Gabe Saporta in December 2015. It last changed hands in May 2022 for $4 million to prominent cardiologist Martha Gulati, who has moved to Texas to serve as inaugural director of Houston Methodist Hospital’s new Davis Women’s Heart Center.

Originally built in the 1930s and extensively updated by the current owner, the beige-hued stucco and slate-roofed structure is tucked away behind high hedge-lined walls and a gated entrance in the historic Sunset Square neighborhood, on less than a quarter of an acre. A total of four bedrooms and six baths are filtered across roughly 3,700 square feet of living space in a main home and guesthouse.
Upon entering the wood-paneled, dark-green front door via an arched brick surround, a welcoming staircase-clad foyer flows to a barrel-vaulted living room sporting a carved stone fireplace flanked by French doors. An adjacent den with a window seat doubles as a library and media room, while a butler’s pantry connects the formal dining room to a kitchen featuring a marble-topped island, Wolf range and Sub-Zero appliances, a workstation and dry bar, and a breakfast nook with a built-in banquette.

Upstairs is a vaulted primary suite boasting several closets and a glass-lined bath offering dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate shower. Outdoors, the private and garden-laced backyard hosts a small pool with a Baja shelf, a partially covered dining and entertaining terrace with a barbecue station, and a cabana with a sound and video system, a wet bar, and a refrigerator. A fire pit conversation area sits outside the detached two-story guesthouse, which has a kitchen, a bath with a steam shower, and an upstairs bedroom.
Jonas’s primary residence is now in New York City, where he purchased a three-bedroom, four-bath unit in Brooklyn’s Olympia Dumbo building last year for $6.7 million.
