Lizzo Relists Her L.A. Home for $14 Million, and It’s About Damn Time

Now that Lizzo’s had some time to settle into the revamped midcentury digs she picked up from actor Jeremy Renner last November for $12.4 million, the Grammy-winning singer, rapper, and classically trained flutist is doubling down on her efforts to sell the modern Beverly Hills home she’s owned for only three years. After first putting the 90210 property on the market six months ago for $16 million with no takers, the place has resurfaced with a substantially reduced $14 million ask. James Harris and David Parnes of Carolwood Estates share the listing.

The Detroit-born musician acquired the sleek wood and stone structure from Warner Brothers CEO and co-chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck in 2022 for $15 million, which means she’s looking at a potential million-dollar loss on her initial investment. Previously owned by English pop singer Harry Styles from 2014 to 2016, the house was subsequently demolished and rebuilt by Simo Design and Fischer Construction before going to Bay-Schuck in late 2019 for $11 million.

A huge two-way fireplace clad in blackened cold-rolled steel separates the living area and kitchen.

Secluded behind walls and gates in the exclusive Oak Pass Road enclave where past and present celebrity neighbors include Lisa Vanderpump, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, and Channing Tatum, the treehouse-inspired sanctuary features three bedrooms and five baths in a little more than 5,400 square feet of L-shaped living space on two levels anchored by a central open-air atrium.

Vast expanses of glass overlook picturesque canyon and hillside vistas from the downward-sloping lot, while swanky perks range from a movie theater and recording studio/office to a gym and wellness area.

Amenities include a dark-hued recording studio/office and a cozy movie theater.

Other highlights include a formal dining room, plus an adjacent living area sporting a two-way fireplace that connects on the other side to a sleek eat-in kitchen with oil-finished black walnut cabinetry, an eat-in island and countertops in Cielo quartzite, and top-tier Wolf appliances. Large sliding glass doors open to reveal a covered outdoor lounge area.

Elsewhere, a nearly 1,000-square-foot primary suite donning a floating soapstone fireplace and concrete soaking tub is suspended above the oak tree-studded grounds, which unfold across a third of an acre and host a 58-foot zero-edge pool with an inset spa. There’s also a fire pit conversation area, as well as several Ipe wood decks for entertaining.
