Russell Wilson and Ciara List Their Sprawling SoCal Home for $55 Million

Back in 2021, veteran NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, Grammy-winning singer Ciara, doled out $14.5 million for a property in the affluent community of Rancho Santa Fe, about 25 miles north of downtown San Diego. Now, after a four-year stay, the couple has decided to toss the residence back on the market with a $40 million jump in price, asking a dash under $55 million.

If the place goes for anywhere near the current listing price, it will easily rank as San Diego County’s most expensive home ever sold, surpassing the nearly $50 million transfer in October of an oceanfront compound in nearby Del Mar that was originally on the market for $75 million. Brian Guiltinan and Ryan White of the Guiltinan Group share the listing.

Resting beyond a gated driveway, the Mediterranean-style structure can be found amid a tree-laced parcel spanning nearly nine acres in a gated enclave near Del Mar Country Club. Originally built in the early 2000s, it has since undergone an extensive redesign by the couple, replete with an equestrian arena-turned-football field where Wilson and his teammates have met up to practice during the off seasons.

Altogether, Amor Estate offers 30,000 square feet spread across a seven-bedroom main home and a two-bedroom guesthouse. There’s also a separate recording studio and a fitness center with a sauna, a cold plunge, and spa facilities, plus a 10-car garage and a motor court with room for at least a dozen vehicles.

Other highlights include a curvaceous living room lined with glass, a formal dining room, and a fireside family room that connects to a kitchen outfitted with custom cabinetry, two islands, top-tier appliances, and a breakfast nook. A game room/billiards lounge has a seated bar, while a secluded primary suite sports its own fireplace, lounge, office, designer closet, glam room, and marble bath.

The posh amenities continue outdoors, where the resort-like grounds host a pool with a spa and a waterfall, along with a pizza oven, a game pavilion with a candy bar, and a sports court.

Wilson was originally drafted 75th overall in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks, where he was selected for the Pro Bowl nine times and helped win a Super Bowl in 2014. After nine seasons, he went on to play for the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers before signing a one-year contract with his current team, the New York Giants. Ciara, meanwhile, snagged her first Grammy back in 2010, and has received four other nominations.

According to Architectural Digest, the couple have already completed a couple of eight-figure real estate deals in the past few years, including the sale of a $31 millionSeattle-area abode in 2024 and the purchase of a $25 million Denver home in 2022. Most recently, they reportedly toured a $30 million Gilded-Age mansion on New York City’s Upper West Side.
