Soon after she began dating reality TV star Ant Anstead in 2021, Renée Zellweger sold her secluded, hacienda-style retreat in Southern California for $6.4 million. The two-time Oscar-winning actress went on to rent a waterfront compound directly across the street from her beau’s bungalow in the seaside enclave of Laguna Beach; and while she and Anstead are still together four years later, her sprawling ranch in Topanga Canyon is now available again at a speck under $8 million.
Records show Zellweger doled out $3.4 million for the nearly 10-acre property back in 2015. She subsequently gave the 2002-built residence a down-to-the-studs renovation before flipping it around six years later, after less than a month on the market, for a hefty $3 million-plus profit.

A lengthy gated driveway winds its way through natural boulders and lush meadows before emptying out at a motor court fronting an attached three-car garage. Once inside the stucco and terra-cotta-roof structure, four bedrooms and five baths are spread across just over 4,400 square feet of single-level living space adorned with a mix of hardwood and hand-painted Spanish tile floors, Venetian plaster arches, wood-beam ceilings, and seamless indoor-outdoor environs.
Among the highlights is a sunken living room sporting a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace crafted by a European stonemason. A fireside family room connects to the kitchen, which is outfitted with dark-hued cabinetry, an eat-in island, and top-tier stainless appliances. There’s also a formal dining room and an office nook, as well as a spacious primary suite boasting a bath with dual vanities, a pedestal-style soaking tub, and a glass-encased shower.
The kitchen comes with a wood-topped eat-in island and an accompanying breakfast nook.
