Comedian Whitney Cummings Is Seeking $13 Million for Her Suburban L.A. Estate

After nearly six years of ownership, Whitney Cummings has decided to part ways with her Mediterranean-style estate just outside Los Angeles. Records show the standup comedian has stuck a nearly $13 million price tag on the stylishly revamped spread, which is tucked away in a remote gated enclave of the San Fernando Valley.

Though the asking price is almost $9 million more than the $4.3 million she doled out for the circa-2004 home back in 2019, Cummings completely remodeled the premises during her tenure in collaboration with designer Jake Arnold. Out went the nightclub-esque decor, and in came what Architectural Digest described as a “Santa Fe–meets–monastery–inspired” style with a total of five bedrooms and seven baths in roughly 6,800 square feet of warm and textured living space boasting a mix of hardwood and stone floors, high ceilings accented with reclaimed barn beams, and French doors leading outside.

A high ceiling dotted with salvaged barn beams crowns the fireside living room.

Sequestered behind gates at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, the creamy stucco and terracotta-roof structure is perched atop a four-acre parcel overlooking sweeping mountain vistas. Inside, an entry foyer displaying a striking plaster spiral staircase flows to a light-filled living room highlighted by a masonry fireplace, while the elegant dining room connects to a gourmet kitchen decked out with custom cabinetry, an eat-in island topped with Blue Louise stone, high-end stainless appliances, and a breakfast nook.

Elsewhere is an inviting den sporting a fireplace flanked by built-in shelving, as well as a bookshelf-lined library and a posh primary suite flaunting a private balcony, a separate seating area, and a spa-inspired bath spotlighted by a Belgian soaking tub. Outdoors, the olive tree-laced grounds host several alfresco lounging and entertaining spots enhanced by a pool and spa, swinging sofas, a fire pit, and a bar setup, along with a spacious motor court and a driveway that passes through a porte-cochère on its way to the two-car garage.

In the backyard, the pool and an adjacent fire pit conversation area are enveloped in lush greenery.

Adding to the home’s allure is the property’s setting amid a hollow that protects it from the Santa Ana winds, according to the listing held by Adam Rosenfeld and Jon Grauman of The Agency, which also notes there is a Los Angeles Fire Department helipad nearby.

A native of Washington, D.C., the 42-year-old humorist and actress appeared in her first standup special, Money Shot, on Comedy Central back in 2010 and went on to create and star in the self-titled sitcom Whitney, which aired on NBC for two seasons between 2011 and 2013. Probably best known for co-creating and co-writing the hit CBS comedy 2 Broke Girls, she also hosts a popular podcast titled Good for You.

Drake’s Sprawling Beverly Hills Estate Is up for Rent at $250,000 per Month

After nearly two years on and off the housing market at $88 million, Aubrey “Drake” Graham has now decided to hoist the palatial Beverly Hills estate he acquired from English pop singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field up for rent, asking a hefty $250,000 per month. The listing is shared by Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates and Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group.

Records show the Canadian music superstar paid $75 million for the property back in spring 2022, before promptly flipping it back up for sale a short year or so later with a $13 million jump in price. He subsequently removed and then relisted the place in early 2024 for the exact same price, and it remains for sale should a deep-pocketed buyer decide to come calling.

A living room bookended with stone fireplaces opens out onto a covered loggia.

Nestled beyond a secluded cul-de-sac and lengthy gated driveway, amid a nearly 20-acre parcel high in the hills above Benedict Canyon, the Tuscan-style spread was originally built in 2001 and fashioned by KAA Design Group for Guess co-founder Armand Marciano. A total of 10 bedrooms and 22 baths are sprawled across almost 25,000 square feet of three-level living space offering picturesque canyon and city lights views. Glitzy amenities range from an elevator, a wine cellar, and a game room to a gym and an 11-car garage.

Other highlights include a double-height foyer boasting a curving iron-railed staircase topped by a striking cubist chandelier. Not one but two fireplaces and a wet bar grace the principal living room that opens onto an expansive covered loggia. There’s also a library, a formal dining room, and a gourmet kitchen outfitted with dual islands, top-tier appliances, and a breakfast nook. A sumptuous primary retreat comes with a fireplace, a private balcony, and a salon-like bath that’s bigger than some houses.

The primary suite’s humongous, salon-style bath is all by itself bigger than some houses.

The manicured grounds are laced with mature olive and oak trees and host a large mosaic-tiled pool, as well as a full-size tennis court with a viewing platform and an indoor-outdoor kitchen sporting a pizza oven. Rounding it all out: a separate staff wing and a guesthouse.

In addition to his Beverly Hills estate, the One Dance rapper owns a palatial 50,000-square-foot megamansion in Toronto’s affluent Bridle Path neighborhood that cost tens of millions of dollars to build. And, in late 2023, he also doled out $15 million for a luxury resort property in the Texas city of Brenham, between Austin and Houston.

Michael Jordan’s Former Chicago Mansion Is Becoming a $1-Million-Per-Week Timeshare

Michael Jordan custom built this mansion in Illinois, and now, you can live like NBA royalty at a fraction of the cost.

The Chicago Bulls star’s former home in Highland Park, roughly 25 miles outside of the Windy City, is looking for a new owner—or rather, owners. Jordan’s longtime estate, better known as Champions Point, was finally taken off the market last December after it sold to local real estate investor John Cooper for $9.5 million. Cooper actually nabbed the abode at discount, considering its initial asking price was around $30 million. Despite finding a buyer, Cooper is opening the place up exclusively to bidders willing to shell out $1 million to spend a week at the iconic address. The seven-acre property will operate similar to a timeshare, with co-owners helping to cover annual expenses.

The entry of the 32,000-square-foot home.

    Champions Point

“We envision Champions Point as more than just a luxury property—it’s an opportunity to own a piece of history and bring sports enthusiasts together through a unique co-ownership model,” explains Cooper, who’s now the manager of Champions Point, in a press statement. “Our goal is to create a shared experience where co-owners can enjoy unparalleled amenities and also the sense of connection and community that comes with it. By preserving the property’s original design while integrating modern technology, we’re ensuring that Champions Point continues to be a place where extraordinary memories are made for years to come.”

Altogether, the 32,000-square-foot residence holds nine bedrooms and a whopping 19 bathrooms, so it’s large enough to accommodate up to 20 guests at a time. Of course, there are tons of amenities for like-minded sports buffs, including a full-size basketball court, a fitness center, a putting green, and a tennis court. Most notably, the front gate dons a “23,” which fans will recognize as the basketball legend’s jersey number.

    There’s a regulation-sized indoor basketball court.

There are perks for non-athletic types too, like a state-of-the-art home theater, an in-ground swimming pool, a wine cellar, and a cigar room with leather poker tables. Plus, for an additional fee, the property can be used by co-owners to host special events like a wedding or charity gala with a private chef and on-site entertainment.

According to Cooper, co-ownership shares are allowed to be resold, so you can offer friends the opportunity to live like Mike—albeit for a week.

Joan Rivers Called This Opulent Manhattan Penthouse Home. Now It Can Be Yours for $28 Million.

A little more than a decade after Joan Rivers passed away at age 81, the legendary comedian’s opulent Versailles-inspired penthouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan has once again popped up for sale, asking $28 million.

Rivers acquired the 42-foot-wide spread in 1988 about a year after the death of her husband Edgar Rosenberg and lived there until she died in 2014, according to the New York Post. The property then sold around a year later for $28 million to Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Al Saud, who first hoisted the place on the market in 2021 for $38 million before subsequently reducing the price and then temporarily removing it from the listings in 2023.

A blush-hued breakfast room holds court near the galley-style kitchen.

Sited within the six-story, pre-war Spencer Condominium, which was designed by noted architect Horace Trumbauer in the early 1900s, the French Neoclassical-style triplex rests on the top three floors of the limestone building. Five bedrooms and six baths are spread across nearly 4,700 square feet largely original but modernized interiors boasting Parquet de Versailles floors, 23-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and ornate moldings. There are also five wood-burning fireplaces, plus a couple of stone terraces offering skyline and Central Park views.

A cozy library/media room is lined with built-in bookshelves.

Other highlights include a private elevator landing that opens into a double-height entrance gallery before flowing to an expansive Louis XIV-inspired ballroom lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. Elsewhere are a formal dining room adorned with 18th-century French panels and a handsome wood-clad library/media room, as well as an upstairs primary suite hosting a corner office and a spa-like bath equipped with dual vanities and a glass-encased shower. A separate two, bedroom, two-bath guest wing on the lower level has its own fireside living room and kitchen.

Per the listing held by Zina Raslan and Carl Gambino of The Gambino Group at Compass, a hefty $21,068 monthly common charge also avails the new owner of a full-time doorman.

Elvis and Priscilla Presley Honeymooned at This Palm Springs Home. Now It’s Up for Grabs.

It’s been over six decades since Elvis Presley met Priscilla Beaulieu at a party in Germany. He was serving in the Army, the two hit it off, and subsequently they tied the knot in a 1967 ceremony held at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Afterward, the couple honeymooned at a Palm Springs hideaway that just popped up for sale with a nearly $9.3 million price tag.

Originally designed by noted modernist architect William Krisel and built in 1960 by prominent local developer Bob Alexander as his personal home, the aptly named Alexander Residence was last sold in late 2022 for roughly $5.7 million to entrepreneur Nancy Cirillo. Resembling a retro spaceship from the outside, the spread evokes a decidedly ’60s-era vision of the future, and has since been renovated and modernized on the inside by Cirillo and her husband Cary Collins in collaboration with designer Michelle Boudreau.

The snazzy sunken living room is highlighted by a floating fireplace and curving built-in sofa.

RELATED: This SoCal Estate Was Once Home to Bing Crosby. Now It Can Be Yours for $13.5 Million.

Resting in the historic Vista Las Palmas neighborhood amid a half-acre cul-de-sac parcel at the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, the glass, stone, and butterfly-roof dwelling features four bedrooms and five baths in almost 4,700 square feet of split-level living space. The property is spread across a series of four interconnected circular pods unified by terrazzo floors and exposed brick walls.

A stand-out sunken living room sports a custom built-in sofa and a striking fireplace, plus glass sliders spilling out onto a terrace. An elevated dining area connects to the kitchen, which is outfitted with white oak cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and a round island with five stovetop burners. An adjacent den, meanwhile, has a fireplace and TV notched into an earth-toned accent wall stretching to the ceiling. A former closet has also been converted into a black marble bar.

A hedge-lined backyard with a pool and spa overlooks picturesque views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Tucked away up a staircase is a spacious primary suite that comes complete with a luxe bath flaunting wardrobe closets, a circular soaking tub, and access to a private balcony. Outdoors, the palm tree-laced grounds are showcased by a fireside sitting area, as well as a large pool and separate spa. There’s also an attached two-vehicle carport on the premises.

As first reported by The Wall Street Journal,  Elvis leased the house for about a year starting in 1966 before marrying Priscilla in Las Vegas and then flying back to Palm Springs on Frank Sinatra’s Learjet for their honeymoon. Cirillo and Collins—she a former owner of a women’s activewear line, and he a tennis pro—have decided to sell because they are moving back to their old neighborhood on the other side of California’s Coachella Valley to be closer to family and work.

“It was so fun to enjoy that phase of our relationship in that home,” Cirillo told WSJ. “It was kind of like our honeymoon house. Now, it’s back to real life.” The listing is held by Marc Sanders of Compass.

Walter White’s New Mexico Home From ‘Breaking Bad’ Can Be Yours for $4 Million

Back in 2013, after Breaking Bad had wrapped its five-year run, fans were delighted when several vehicles used in the Emmy-winning TV show hit the auction block, most notably a 2003 Pontiac Aztek driven by Bryan Cranston’s character Walter White. So intense is the show’s fandom that a couple of years ago, a replica pair of underwear like those worn by the mild-mannered high school chemistry teacher-turned-ruthless drug kingpin went up for grabs, ultimately going to the highest bidder for a cool $32,500. Now, if you happen to have a bit more disposable cash burning a hole in your proverbial pocket, the unassuming Albuquerque abode where White and his family lived can be yours!

The iconic pad, which just hit the market for a speck under $4 million, consists of four bedrooms, two baths, piano and living rooms, a dining area, and a kitchen spread across 1,910 square feet. There’s also an attached two-car garage out front and a pool and covered barbecue area holding court in the private backyard. Tucked away behind a fence on less than a quarter of an acre in the suburban neighborhood of Loma del Rey, the property is being offered by David Christensen and Sonya Avila of Christensen Group | eXp Realty Luxury.

The backyard holds the pool that Walter White’s wife Skyler walked into fully clothed during a birthday dinner in Season 5.

    Christensen Group

Purchased by Fran and Louis Padilla in the 1970s, shortly after it was built, and currently owned by the now-deceased couple’s children, the single-level stucco and wood-paneled structure was initially proposed as the site of a TV pilot when a location scout knocked on the door back in 2006. Filming began six months later, with Breaking Badpremiering in 2008 and the house going on to become a popular tourist attraction for fans from across the globe who are eager to catch a glimpse of the place where scenes such as the pizza toss occurred.

“This home became a character as large as Walter White himself, sometimes receiving over 300 cars per day, and is a goldmine for an investor looking to have the best Airbnb in the world,” said Ryan Johnston of InterPhase Entertainment, who is handling the sale with eXp Realty.
