‘Wednesday’ Star Riki Lindhome’s Midcentury L.A. Home Lists for $2.8 Million

Riki Lindhome reconnected with her longtime friend Fred Armisen around four years ago when they were both starring in the Netflix show Wednesday as a therapist and Uncle Fester, respectively. Romance soon sparked for the fellow actors and comedians—she best known as one-half of the satirical music duo Garfunkel and Oates, and he an SNL alum and a co-creator of Portlandia—and they wound up tying the knot at a small courthouse ceremony in June 2022. Lindhome, who had been planning on becoming a single mom, welcomed her son, Keaton, via a surrogate three months before the wedding.

Though Lindhome and Armisen ultimately settled in a French Normandy-style spread in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles that they bought from producer Lauren Lexton in 2022 for $4.3 million, she’s hung on to an alluring midcentury-modern abode in Culver City that she picked up in 2019 for $2.3 million. Now, after renting the post-and-beam pad for a few years, she’s decided to part ways with it for a dash under $2.8 million. Debbie Weiss of Compass holds the listing.

“This extraordinary home spoke to me immediately,” said Lindhome in a press statement. “I felt like it was a time capsule in the heart of Los Angeles, and just so special. The moment I walked through the door I felt an instant connection, a pull that told me that this was the one…it was really love at first sight. This home became my sanctuary. As I prepare to pass it on to its next caretaker, I hope they’ll feel the same spark I did!”

Sited off a private street and gated driveway, on a hilltop parcel spanning a third of an acre with picturesque views stretching from downtown L.A. to the Hollywood Hills, the dark wood-sided structure was built more than six decades ago, in the early 1960s. Thoughtfully preserved and modernized, it features four bedrooms and three baths in roughly 2,300 square feet of single-level, L-shaped living space filled with wall-to-wall wood, original built-ins, and exposed-beamed ceilings dotted with skylights.

The private and decked backyard is spotlighted by a revamped saltwater pool.

A combined family room and dining area is anchored by a wood-burning brick fireplace, while the kitchen has a breakfast table extending from a center island and a pass-through window connecting to an outdoor bar alongside a renovated saltwater pool and a fire pit. Back inside, an en suite primary is joined by two side-by-side bedrooms, plus a guest bedroom set up as an office.

An added bonus: The property is also just minutes away from Blair Hills Park, the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, Stoneview Nature Center, Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, and Park to Playa Trail.

Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s Manhattan Maisonette Can Be Yours for $1.7 Million

You might not have been fortunate enough to snag Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s elegant Manhattan penthouse that was recently up for grabs at nearly $10 million; it went for $14 million in July after a fierce bidding war. But now’s your chance to pick up their separate apartment on the ground floor of the same Carnegie Hill building at East 93rd Street and Fifth Avenue, across from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.

The asking price for the two-bedroom, two-bath unit is just under $1.7 million, with the listing held by Noble Black and Jennifer Kaufman Stillman of The Corcoran Group.

Newman, who died in 2008 at age 83, and Woodward, now in her 90s, moved into the J.E.R. Carpenter-designed 1920s co-op back in the early 1980s. The couple used the 3,000-square-foot, terraced penthouse for extended stays in the city and to entertain prominent friends the likes of Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Tom Cruise, Cher, and Harry Belafonte. Their more modest maisonette apartment served as an office, a gym, and a guest space. Carefully maintained but not updated much in recent years, the prewar apartment looks almost frozen in time with the Oscar-winning pair’s furniture, art, and mementos still on display.

The large entry foyer is lined with wood wainscoting and set up as a study with a desk and a cozy armchair. Double doors open to a parquet-floored living and dining area lined with bookshelves and windows offering garden views, while an eat-in kitchen is spotlighted by a patterned tile floor, a glossy green ceramic backsplash, and a wall of framed portraits over a small country-style table. A hallway with a powder room leads to both bedrooms, which share a marble bath with a built-in soaking tub.

The green-tiled kitchen has a small table topped with a collage of personal portraits.

The $4,150 monthly maintenance fee includes a 24-hour doorman and a live-in resident manager, along with a fitness center and a bike room. The striking limestone-clad building is also just steps away from Central Park and the Museum Mile.

During their lengthy 50-year marriage, the show business legends collectively racked up 15 Academy Award nominations. Woodward won a best actress trophy for the 1957 film The Three Faces of Eve, and Newman was named best actor for Martin Scorsese’s 1986 movie The Color of Money. In 1994, he was also honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic efforts.

Los Angeles Lakers Coach JJ Redick Relists His Brooklyn Penthouse for $6.2 Million

JJ Redick, the former NBA sharpshooter turned Los Angeles Lakers head coach, has put his Brooklyn penthouse back on the market. The 3,000-square-foot duplex in Dumbo was originally purchased by Redick and his wife, Chelsea Kilgore, in 2017 for just over $6 million, property records show. Perched atop a seven-story converted warehouse designed by ODA, the home features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, along with 2,500 square feet of landscaped terraces that wrap around both floors.

What began as a pied-à-terre evolved into a full-time family residence through a comprehensive renovation by designer Michael Aiduss, featured in Architectural Digest in 2019. The couple sought a refined European-inspired aesthetic, transforming the industrial loft into a classical, highly detailed space.

The kitchen has lacquered Aegean blue cabinets, bronze accents, and Calacatta marble countertops.

The main floor welcomes owners and guests with a formal entryway leading into an open-plan living and dining area, complete with a sitting alcove and bar. White oak herringbone floorboards can be found throughout, along with glass-trim pocket doors, brass fixtures, French moldings, and elegant archways. The centerpiece is a custom Aegean blue kitchen, lacquered top to bottom with bronze accents and Calacatta marble countertops, connecting seamlessly to a family room with a hidden, James Bond–style TV that rises up out of a cabinet at the touch of a button.

The upper-level primary suite is decked out with a mirrored dressing room and a bathroom surrounded in Venetian plaster walls. Two additional bedrooms, including one set up as a study, open onto an upper terrace with sunset views, while a fourth bedroom sports a full en-suite bath and walk-in closet. The penthouse’s terraces, designed in collaboration with Gunn Landscape Architecture, offer distinct spaces for lounging and dining with a fully outfitted outdoor kitchen. “For me it came down to outdoor space,” Redick told AD. “I wanted a real patio, not a Juliet balcony.”

Bedrooms come with access to the penthouse’s wraparound terraces.

The building’s 75 units offer a slew of swanky amenities, including a double-height lobby, 24-hour concierge, fitness and yoga facilities, a residents’ lounge, landscaped courtyard, and rooftop terrace. The penthouse has been on the market before: first listed in 2021 for $8.5 million, then reduced to $7 million in 2022. It’s now asking $6.2 million, represented by Rachel Greenstein of Compass.

Redick, 41, starred at Duke University before playing 15 seasons in the NBA and earning a reputation as a three-point specialist. He later worked as an analyst before taking the helm as head coach of the Lakers in 2024.

This $15 Million Bel Air Time Capsule Is on Sale for the First Time in 80 Years

Sydney Sweeney’s packed property portfolio already includes homes in Florida, Idaho, and Southern California. Now word on the street has it the A-list actress might be dipping her toes back into the real estate waters, this time with a decadent Hollywood Regency-style spread in the prime lower Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Euphoria and The White Lotus star, who is particularly fond of buying old houses and restoring them, was recently spotted taking a look-see at a vintage residence that is now for sale at a smidge under $15 million, according to the New York Post.

“This property is one of the great homes of Los Angeles, a cultural landmark that hasn’t been on the market in 80 years and for decades served as a social hub for LA high society,” said listing agent Josh Flagg of Compass in a press statement.

Ideal for entertaining, the tented red-and-green den spills out to a covered patio.

RELATED: Quincy Jones’s Longtime Bel Air Mansion Just Hit the Market for $60 Million

Built in the 1930s, the dwelling was long owned by oilman David Daniel “Tex” Feldman and his philanthropist wife, Jayne, who were known for entertaining high-profile guests from legendary French singer Édith Piaf to Joan Crawford, Joan Collins, and Candy Spelling. Both have since passed away and the home has remained in the family, still looking much as it did when its Tom Douglas-designed interiors were featured in Architectural Digest back in 1951.

Set beyond a lengthy gated driveway on three parcels spanning nearly two acres, along the 15th green of the Bel Air Country Club Golf Course, the pale pink structure includes a nine-bedroom main residence with roughly 8,200 square feet, plus a two-bedroom guest apartment atop the pool house and a separate guesthouse. There is also a circular motor court with a three-car garage, a pool, and a tennis court that looks in need of some TLC.

The gold primary bedroom includes a bespoke dressing room with glass-front closets.

    Paul Barnaby

The front door opens into a classic entrance hallway sporting a vaulted and arched ceiling, marble floors, red-and-white toile wallpaper, and a green-carpeted and white steel-railed staircase. From there, a formal dining room has a black-and-white checkered floor, terracotta-hued walls, a crystal chandelier dangling from a metallic copper ceiling, and walls of glass overlooking the greenery-encased grounds. A fireside living room flows out to a covered terrace.

Elsewhere is a kitchen equipped with a butler’s pantry, a study clad in wood paneling, a den flaunting a red-and-white tented ceiling and another tufted bar, and a gold-accented primary bedroom spotlighted by a large dressing room. There’s also a sprawling poolside ballroom/screening room that has a sitting area with a decorative coffered accent wall and a floor-to-ceiling tiled fireplace at one end and a tufted bar and a celebrity photo wall on the other.

The rectangular pool sits alongside a pool house with guest quarters up top.

In addition to a $13.5 million waterfront estate in the Florida Keys and a lakeside abode next door to her mother’s hideaway in Idaho, the 28-year-old Spokane native also lays claim to a $3 million Tudor-style home in the Westwood area of L.A. that she picked up in 2021 and a $6.2 million tear-down residence in Bel Air.

Sweeney, who is now dating music manager Scooter Braun after ending her engagement to producer Jonathan Davino earlier this year, is currently working on a biopic about boxing legend Christy Martin.

Inside George and Amal Clooney’s $50 Million Property Portfolio

Few couples combine star power, smarts, and style quite like George and Amal Clooney. George, 62, is an actor, director, and producer whose career has earned him two Oscars and, most recently, a Tony nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for Good Night, and Good Luck, along with decades of Hollywood acclaim. He’s dazzled audiences in cinematic landmarks including Ocean’s Eleven, Up in the Air, Michael Clayton, Gravity, and The Descendants, and has been a longtime brand ambassador for Omega, proving his wrist game is as strong as his acting chops.

Beyond the screen, the Oscar winner has built an equally impressive business empire. He co-founded Casamigos with friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman in 2013 and sold the tequila brand to Diageo four years later in a whopping $1 billion deal. Since then, Clooney and his Casamigos partners have reunited to launch a new non-alcoholic beer venture. He also runs his own production company, Smokehouse Pictures, and has secured major endorsement deals with brands like Nespresso and Fiat.

Amal, 46, is a human rights lawyer and barrister celebrated for defending freedom of speech, refugees, and international justice on the global stage. Married since 2014, the pair are parents to eight-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, and together they command a combined net worth estimated at around $550 million.

It’s no surprise that their accomplishments spill over into the spaces they call home. From the couple’s iconic Lake Como villa in Italy to a sprawling French country estate, a chic property along the River Thames in England, and multiple residences in New York City and Kentucky, the Clooneys have curated a truly global real estate portfolio worthy of their A-list status.

Their past homes are just as noteworthy. George sold his longtime Studio City residence in 2024 for $14.5 million to newlyweds Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey, ending an era. Meanwhile, a property he owned in Los Cabos, Mexico, alongside Gerber and Cindy Crawford, changed hands in 2015, proving that even his former escapes are high-profile.

Below, we’ve rounded up the Clooneys’ most notable residences—from the serene vineyards of France to the bustling streets of New York—offering a glimpse into how one of the world’s most celebrated couples chooses to live.

Lily Allen and David Harbour List Their Eclectic Brooklyn Townhouse for $8 Million

Shortly after their 2020 nuptials in Las Vegas, Stranger Things actor David Harbour and British pop star Lily Allen doled out $3.35 million for a “very lived-in” 19th-century Italianate brownstone in Brooklyn’s leafy Carroll Gardens enclave.

The couple subsequently enlisted the services of architect Ben Bischoff of MADE and designer Billy Cotton and embarked on an extensive renovation that was featured in an Architectural Digest video tour. Now, four years later, they’ve broken up and have decided to sell the eclectic five-bedroom, four-bath abode for nearly double what they paid, asking a speck under $8 million. Carl Gambino of Compass holds the listing.

Drawing on three distinct design themes—traditional English, modern Brooklyn townhouse, and layered Italian in a nod to the neighborhood’s Italian/American roots—Cotton’s goal was to preserve the original details and character. He also wanted to create a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. The result? Eccentric yet inviting interiors that boast chintz balloon shades, crystal chandeliers, pink silk, tiger-patterned textiles, Mylar wallpaper, and some whimsical swan-shaped fixtures thrown in for good measure.

A fancifully carpeted and wallpapered primary bath/sitting room has a fireplace and pink soaking tub.

    Hayley Ellen Day

The first order of business was coming up with a warm and functional kitchen, complete with Plain English cabinetry, an Ann Sacks-tiled backsplash, a fancy Officine Gullo range, a custom dining table big enough for dropping off shopping bags and completing homework, and a coffee station with a hot/cold water tap. From there, a green-hued living/garden room is anchored by a boxy fireplace, Zuber wallpaper, and a custom double-sided green sofa enveloped in tufted emerald velvet.

Other highlights include a primary bath/sitting room sporting carpet and shades from Pierre Frey, yet more Zuber wallpaper, Ralph Lauren Home sconces, a pink soaking tub, and a fireplace bookended by vanities crafted from gilt bronze and parquetry commodes. A separate space holds the toilet and a combination tub and shower, while pocketing doors open to reveal an intimate and windowless “bed womb.” There are also dual walk-in closets, one a dressing area with bespoke Florense shelving and the other a black-clad space with a desk.

RELATED: Amy Schumer Lists Her 200-Year-Old Brooklyn Townhouse for $14 Million

A narrow staircase descends to a more modern lower level spotlighted by a powder room flaunting an ebony sink and toilet set against bold geometric wallpaper, plus a media room warmed by a stone fireplace and a carpet and sectional sofa dressed in tiger print. A door opens to the enclosed and gated backyard, which hosts two structures housing a Finnish sauna and a cold plunge.

At the time of the AD home tour, Harbour stated that the townhouse’s style is a big change from that of his former New York City loft in Nolita. “I’m a suburban boy from Westchester, so I’m accustomed to a more middle-of-the-road aesthetic,” he said. Allen, armed with her own vision, instead leaned into her overall desire for something truly “weird and wonderful.”

An Indiana estate owned by Motorsports Hall of Famer Michael Andretti—known to his fans as the “Black Knight”—has officially rumbled onto the market as he shifts into retirement. Nestled on the outskirts of Indianapolis in the suburban city of Fishers, the sprawling waterfront spread is listed for nearly $12 million with Joel Woelfle and Allen Williams of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

The former racing champ and IndyCar team owner and his model wife Jodi bought the 1990s property in late 2016 for nearly $2.2 million. They razed part of the existing home and rebuilt and expanded it over the next three years in collaboration with builder Rob Annee of the Palladium Group. Sited amid a gated parcel spanning over five acres, with 570 feet of shoreline along the manmade Geist Reservoir, the chateau-style residence has a total of nine bedrooms and 12 baths in roughly 21,000 square feet.

Three garages spanning 5,500 square feet can accommodate more than 12 vehicles.

Primed for auto enthusiasts, a trio of climatized garages encompassing a whopping 5,500 square feet can accommodate more than a dozen vehicles.

A fireside hearth room connects to a gourmet kitchen with a 14-foot island, an Italian Ilve range, grilling and wine stations, and a tucked-away caterer’s kitchen. A private 1,700-square-foot guest wing has two bedrooms with baths, a great room, a full kitchen, and direct garage access.

Doors open to the resort-style grounds, which are spotlighted by a 50-foot pool with a spa, waterfalls, a waterslide, and fire features, as well as multiple terraces, a heated and cooled children’s play cottage, and a three-slip boat dock.
