Carmelo and La La Anthony’s Spanish-Style LA Home Just Hit the Market for $2.6 Million

Before their split, Carmelo and La La Anthony shared a chic, Spanish-style retreat in Los Angeles. Now, nearly two years after calling it quits, the former couple is finally parting ways with their longtime family home.

The NBA star and his ex-wife, who officially filed for divorce back in June 2021, have listed the sprawling California estate for a cool $2.6 million. The palatial pad dates all the way back to 1929 but has since undergone an extensive renovation. Today, the modern abode offers three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and more than 2,000 square feet of living space.

Carmelo and La La Anthony’s former Los Angeles home just listed for $2.6 million.

    Todd Goodman

“The property is a completely private and redone Spanish oasis in the heart of Beverly Grove for the most discerning of buyers,” Nima Tehrany of Compass, who holds the listing together with colleague James Baulding, told Architectural Digest.

The secluded one-story residence is hidden behind sturdy gates and tall hedges. Staying true to its roots, the home sports a white stucco exterior, a red tiled roof and charming archways. Inside, you’ll find vaulted beamed ceilings, oversized picture windows and hardwood flooring throughout. The light-filled living room features a cozy fireplace and postcard-like views of the olive trees outside. Elsewhere, the eat-in kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge, while the breakfast nook is surrounded by limewash walls that create a modern yet old-world feel.

The Spanish-style residence was originally built in the ’20s but has been totally renovated.

When you need to unwind, the primary suite is outfitted with a massive walk-in closet clad in dark wood. There’s also a spa-like en suite complete with a freestanding soaking tub, dual sinks, a glass-walled shower and vistas of the bamboo-lined yard. Speaking of which, the grounds themselves have a few surprise perks, including an open-air cabana, multiple al fresco dining areas and a sparkling plunge pool and spa. Sounds like a slice of paradise in Beverly Grove.

Darling Digs: Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Glitzy Palm Springs Hideaway Just Hit the Market for $3.8 Million

The former home of late Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor is up for grabs, and it’s just as over-the-top as you’d expect.

The socialite’s glitzy Palm Springs pad was originally custom-built in 1964 for her sister, Magda, by her fourth husband, Arthur “Tony” Gallucci. Though, Zsa Zsa lived there after her sibling passed away in 1997. In the years since it’s been given a modern and maximalist refresh thanks to its current owners. Interior designer Tracy Turco and her husband, Jerry, who’s a real estate developer, scooped up the three-bedroom residence back in 2020, reported Mansion Global. “When we found out the Gabor estate was for sale—totally glamour—I wanted it before I had even seen it. Hollywood-Regency style is my aesthetic!” Tracy told the listing site over email.

The Palm Springs home of late actress Zsa Zsa Gabor just listed for $3.8 million

    Michael Roth

The midcentury stunner is set on an elevated plain atop the picturesque Little Tuscany neighborhood. The spare desert setting makes the playful, pink brick exterior stand out all the more. Outside, you’ll find a giant mosaic-tile swimming pool complete with a stone deck and statues. Inside, nearly every inch of the 3,500-square-foot estate is a study in baroque aesthetics. There are shimmering chandeliers and mirrored walls throughout, which were part of the original home. Oh yeah, and all of the furnishings, a grand piano and even a portrait of Magda are all included in the sale. The latter is worth a whopping $20,000, according to agent Conrad Miller of Avenue 8, who holds the listing with colleague Brandon Holland.

The home still has its original mirrored walls but has been renovated by owner and interior designer Tracy Turco

    Michael Roth

Naturally, the Turcos put their own artsy stamp on the place. The kitchen, which has ample wine storage and an original Hungarian rotisserie, features a metallic gold ceiling and black cabinets. Elsewhere, funky wallpaper designs are plastered all over the abode. In the primary suite, the couple added an office and seating area. The space also has pink carpeting and a matching closet, a makeup room, an en suite bath and striking views of the surrounding mountains.

The California estate can now be yours for a cool $3.8 million, and to quote Zsa Zsa, it’s simple, darling.

Jim Carrey Just Listed His $29 Million Ranch-Style LA Manse for the First Time in 30 Years

No, this is not a joke. The longtime Los Angeles home of actor, artist and all-around funnyman Jim Carrey is up for grabs.

The comedy legend is parting ways with his Hollywood hideaway after nearly three decades of ownership; now, the two-acre spread can be yours for a cool $28.9 million. The ranch-style residence in Brentwood offers up five bedrooms, six bathrooms and over 12,000 square feet of living space. Plus, the grassy grounds aren’t too shabby either—complete with a north-south tennis court and a rock-lined waterfall swimming pool and spa. He told The Wall Street Journal the pad has served as “a place of enchantment and inspiration” for him ever since he scooped it up in the ‘90s.

Actor Jim Carrey’s just listed his longtime Los Angeles residence for $28.9 million.

Daniel Dahler for Sotheby’s International Realty

For those interested in keeping an equally low profile, the sanctuary is hidden from the street, set behind 280 feet of hedged frontage. The shaded entryway opens up to bright and airy interiors, which currently serve as a gallery for some of Carrey’s own artworks. (Don’t get too attached, though, as they aren’t included in the sale.) Throughout the common areas, you’ll find soaring pitched beamed ceilings, polished brick and hardwood flooring, multiple skylights and French doors galore. The living, dining and family rooms are all super cozy thanks to numerous fireplaces.

The home theater has been custom-built and showcases costumes and memorabilia from Carrey’s most iconic movie roles.

Daniel Dahler for Sotheby’s International Realty

Of course, the film star’s colorful creations aren’t the only mementos on display. According to listing photos, many of his awards and movie memorabilia have been stashed in the swanky home theater. Think costumes from The Grinch, The Cable Guy and Batman Forever, to name a few. The space itself has been customized with mohair-covered sofas, a concession area, burl wood columns and a black marble bathroom. Elsewhere, the primary suite is just as over-the-top. It features a private covered balcony, sitting area and soaking tub.

The backyard was designed to feel like its own tranquil escape with a yoga and meditation platform, organic vegetable garden and a pool house that comes with an infrared sauna and steam room. Speaking with WSJ, Carrey said that he doesn’t spend much time at the abode anymore, so he wants “someone else to enjoy it” as he has.

Janelle Friedman of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

Jennifer Lopez’s $42.5 Million Bel-Air Mansion Comes With an Outdoor Amphitheater for Home Concerts

Despite plans to renovate, Jennifer Lopez has decided to offload her Bel-Air estate instead. And if you’re willing to dish out a whopping $42.5 million, you can live just like J. Lo once did.

The actress and singer is selling the French Country mansion which she bought back in 2016 from fellow celeb Sela Ward, the Wall Street Journal first reported. At the time, Lopez dropped a cool $28 million on the California compound—so she’ll earn an eye-watering profit if the asking price is met. The eight-acre spread includes a nine-bedroom main house, a guest cottage, an infinity pool and a putting green. Plus, the grounds feature a large lake with its own sandy beach and a 100-person outdoor amphitheater. Perhaps the vocalist has put on an at-home performance or two? We wouldn’t be surprised.

Jennifer Lopez is selling her French Country-style estate in Bel-Air for $42.5 Million

    Tyler Hogan

The residence, originally built by architect Samuel Marx, gets its European edge from textured stone, brick and reclaimed wood. Internally, the living spaces have more of a modern farmhouse feel. Think lots of creamy whites, exposed ceiling beams, steel windows and rustic accents. On the main level, you’ll find a family room and double-height living area with its own bar and fireplace. There’s also a formal dining room, in addition to a chef’s kitchen outfitted with a built-in breakfast area and swanky chandelier.

The mansion has a 30-person screening room outfitted with movie posters from Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck

    Tyler Hogan

Of course, the primary suite where “Bennifer” has spent their time is nothing short of spectacular. In fact, it makes up its own wing decked out with a library, his and her dressing rooms and a bathroom. If you need to step out for some air or want to gaze at the surrounding greenery, a private landscaped terrace should do the trick.

Naturally, the manse comes with its fair share of enviable amenities. You’ll find a massage room, a guest house that doubles as a gym and a 30-seat screening room with movie posters from the couple’s film portfolios. In the backyard, you have the option of sitting around the fire pit, tending to the organic vegetable garden or hanging out in the entertainment pavilion. No word yet on where the newlyweds plan to post up next.

Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates holds the listing.
