This is the newly built home of Billionaire mogul Tyler Perry. The buyer recently sold it to comedian Steve Harvey for $15 million. The new home also features a large lap pool & private runway.

International Treasure? Nicolas Cage Is Unloading His Private Bahamas Island for $7.5 Million

Nicholas Cage is feeling the unbearable weight of one massive private island.

The Oscar-winning actor, who once owned as many as 15 luxury homes, sold off the majority of his real estate portfolio roughly a decade ago to pay back a hefty tax debt. (You might also remember reading how he blew his $150 million fortune on outlandish things like a… dinosaur skull.) But he’s still struggling to offload Leaf Cay in the Bahamas.

The idyllic island, which is located in the Exumas archipelago about 85 miles southeast of Nassau, was reportedly purchased by the Hollywood heavyweight in 2006 for $3 million. Spanning a total of 30 acres, it offers three immaculate beaches, as well as protected deep water access for anchoring yachts or tenders.

Leaf Cay comes complete with three beaches.

    AP/Christie’s International Real Estate

What’s more, the island is completely undeveloped and essentially a blank canvas for buyers. According to the listing, which is held by Christie’s International Real Estate, there are “full development approvals” to construct five cottages, along with additional support buildings. You also have the green light to convert one of the island’s two large ponds into a marina.
Leaf Cay is in a great location, too. It’s surrounded by some 365 cays and islands that stretch more than 120 miles and feature some standout attractions. The nearby Bock Cay, for example, is reportedly welcoming a $75 million development that will include a golf course, luxury resort, marina and helipad. Leaf Cay is also surrounded by natural wonders and there is excellent fishing in the nearby Exuma Sound.

One of the island’s two large ponds can be converted into a marina.

    AP/Christie’s International Real Estate

“Leaf Cay represents the last great private island opportunity at a reasonable price for a fee simple island with crystal clear title, like the beautiful waters that surround it,” Christie’s writes on the listing.
Though Christie’s says Leaf Cay’s price is available upon request, another site called Private Islands Inc. has the island listed at $7.5 million. That means The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent star will have made a profit of $4.5 million over 16 years. Maybe he can buy himself another dinosaur skull. More

Radio Mogul Tom Joyner’s $20 Million Florida Mansion Has a Boxing Ring and Access to a Private Beach

Retired radio host Tom Joyner, best known for his nationally syndicated program The Tom Joyner Morning Show, just listed his Golden Beach, Florida, estate for $20 million.

The 7,340-square-foot residence has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, plus spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. Joyner spent two-and-a-half years gut renovating the home to perfection. When he bought the place, he fell in love with the proximity to the beach and the views, and was able to construct a vision that didn’t include copious amounts of the ‘80s-style travertine popular in the area. He worked with designer Deborah Wecselman of Wecselman Design, architect Wesley Kean of KoDA, contractor Larqcon Group and landscape architecture firm Enea. In total, he spent $7.5 million on the renovation. It was completed in 2020—but now, he’s saying farewell.

The home features oversized rooms that seamlessly flow into one another, plenty of natural light, ample outdoor space and ocean-framing views from every room. The modern residence is also dominated by clean lines, perfect symmetry and muted tones. Joyner’s personalized touch? Hints of bright red, his favorite color, are woven throughout the space, whether it’s within his private art collection of works from Picasso, Robert Pruitt, Allora & Calzadilla and Ernie Barnes, or the floor of his garage-turned-boxing ring. The foyer, which features a bold curved staircase, also acts as an art gallery, and this is where his prized collection currently hangs. While Joyner might not be selling his art, he is selling the home fully furnished for a total turnkey experience.

Of all the rooms, the primary suite is a sure highlight. It spans the entirety of the third floor and has a glass-encased RiFRA tub in the center and even a bright-red urinal. Joyner created a large closet to house his sneakers and clothes; it’s also ideal for showcasing a handbag collection. On the lower level, he transformed the garage to include a boxing ring and fitness amenities, complete with a vibrant red floor.
Outside, there is a swimming pool with a spacious patio, summer kitchen, beachside cabana and a four-block stretch of private beach. There’s easy access to the beach through a path from the home. Golden Beach is known for its high-profile residents and luxury homes, and it’s also the only private community with homes on the sand in South Florida; it’s guard-gated with its owm police force to ensure privacy. Golden Beach residents also have access to beachside service, tennis courts, parks and a kid’s playground.

“With direct private beach access, open ocean views from every angle and impeccable design, this beach house is a unicorn property,” says listing agent Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman. “A home of this turnkey caliber is nearly impossible to find. The interior details are breathtaking and your backyard is the sand. Golden Beach is like the Malibu of Miami.”

Amy Schumer’s $15 Million NYC Penthouse Has an Insane 3,000 Square Feet of Outdoor Space

Amy Schumer just listed her Upper West Side penthouse apartment—and it’s the furthest thing from a trainwreck.

The 4,500-square-foot home in a prewar building features five bedrooms and six bathrooms, and is asking $15 million. A key-locked elevator opens directly into the full-floor space, and from there it only gets better.

The indoors blends seamlessly with the outdoors.

    Evan Joseph

The huge living area is designed in a solarium style, with 11-foot glass walls stretching up into angled skylights. Those walls also fold open to allow access to the wraparound terrace, which offers stunning views of the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge, and New York City writ large. A beautiful wrought-iron staircase leads up to a smaller terrace, too, where a gas line can be used to create an outdoor kitchen. In total, the outdoor space encompasses 3,000 square feet—no small feat in NYC.

Schumer is married to the chef Chris Fischer, so, as you might expect, the indoor kitchen is quite magnificent. It includes a breakfast bar, a marble-topped island and counters, and a Sub-Zero fridge, freezer and wine fridge, among other amenities. Suffice it to say that any home cook would find it more than adequate for all their dinner-party needs.

Who wouldn’t want to cook here?

    Evan Joseph

The bedrooms are located in a separate wing of the house, and the primary suite’s bathroom includes a six-foot soaking tub and radiant-heat floors. The other bedrooms all come with ensuite baths, and two of the rooms have direct access to the terrace.
Schumer bought the home in 2016 for $12.15 million, and she called it her “Manhattan dream apartment” in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. A few years ago she redecorated the space with Clements Design, the interior-design firm that also worked with Jennifer Lawrence on her house.
The property is being listed by Adam D. Modlin of the Modlin Group. Check out more images below.

Emma Stone Just Listed Her Airy Midcentury Modern Home in Malibu for $4.3 Million

It might not be right in La La Land, but the home Emma Stone just listed still has an enviable location.

The 1,800-square-foot, midcentury-modern house in Malibu features three bedrooms and is situated on about 3.2 acres of land. It’s asking $4.295 million, not bad for an area where most homes go for more than $5 million.
“It’s a classic 1958 California midcentury hanging over the Pacific,” listing agent Eric Lavey told The Wall Street Journal. “It’s the Malibu beach house they would choose for a Nancy Meyers movie.” How fitting, then, that it’s had an actual celebrity as a resident.

Sitting atop a bluff, the one-story ranch house offers ocean views from most of the rooms, and a large brick patio looks out onto the coastline. The surrounding eucalyptus and yucca trees provide some much-needed shade from the California sun, and act as pops of lush greenery.
Inside, white floors, ceilings and walls make the space feel extremely airy and light-filled. That continues even in the bathroom, with its white subway tiles and gold accents that add some sheen to the room.

Who can resist a subway-tiled bathroom?

Neue Focus for Sotheby’s International Realty

Stone bought the home for $3.25 million in 2018, and recently remodeled the eat-in kitchen. Although she’ll be leaving behind the beachside lifestyle, she’s been busy snapping up other properties. She also bought a Manhattan apartment for $3.56 million in 2018. Then, in 2019, she purchased an LA home for $2.3 million. Last year she became a homeowner in Austin, Texas.
Lavey told the WSJ that he expects the Malibu ranch house to sell quickly, given its lower price point for the area. Unlike the Nancy Meyers movie, it’s not that complicated to see why it would appeal to prospective buyers.

Designed by Gianni Versace, This $70 Million NYC Townhouse Was Restored to Its ‘La Dolce Vita’ Glory

New York City’s townhouses are synonymous with luxury living, but a $70 million pad formerly owned and designed by the late, great Gianni Versace takes “la dolce vita” to extraordinary new heights.

Located on East 64th Street, the six-story Manhattan mansion spans 14,175 square feet, with some 17 rooms spread throughout its haute interiors. Seven plush bedrooms, seven full baths and three partial baths account for more than half of the Italian Baroque-style abode, while the rest is dedicated to grand living and dining room spaces, a library, gym, game lounge, media room and office. Outside, meanwhile, there’s a stunning trellised garden spanning 3,025 square feet and a rooftop gazebo overlooking Fifth and Madison Avenues.

The limestone façade with Versace-style doors.

    Eitan Gamliely

The neoclassical townhouse was built in 1950 and bought by the famed Italian designer for $7.5 million in 1995. As to be expected, the fashion icon fully redesigned the residence, adding plenty of his signature glitz and glamor.
Custom touches include classical columns, intricate mosaics, marble floors and painted ceilings, to name but a few. The Great Room even features restored 19th-century panels on the roof that were sourced by Versace from a Florentine palazzo and depict an epic Elysian scene. Think of it as the Upper East Side’s Sistine Chapel.

    The grand primary suite

    Travis Mark

The manse is being sold by billionaire Swedish hedge funder Thomas Sandell and his wife Ximena. The couple bought the property directly from the Versace family for $30 million in 2005, according to records, before meticulously restoring it to its former glory.
Nikki Field of Sotheby’s International Realty, who is co-listing the property with her daughter Amanda Field Jordan, told The Wall Street Journal that the Sandells are “Versace devotees” and that “this piece of art” will likely be snapped up by “someone who has that same reverence.”

This isn’t the first time the townhouse has landed on the market, though. At one point, it was available as a rental with an asking price of $100,000 a month, according to WSJ. So, if you should ever tire of la dolce vita, you could always let Versace’s wonderland for a bit of extra dosh. Sounds like a win-win to us.
