    NFL Star Nick Bosa’s South Florida Condo Is Up for Grabs at $1.75 Million

    After four years of ownership, Nick Bosa has decided to say goodbye to a South Florida condo in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale. The NFL star is asking a speck under $1.8 million for the townhouse-style residence, which comes complete with ocean views and access to a secluded beach. The listing is held by the player’s mother, Cheryl Bosa of Engel & Völkers.

    Acquired by the All-Pro defensive end for $1.24 million—shortly after he was chosen second overall in the 2019 draft by the San Francisco 49ers and subsequently inked a four-year, $33.6 million contract—the two-level unit lies on the fourth and fifth floors of the five-story 30 Thirty North Ocean luxury boutique residential building, which was completed in summer 2020 by Cavache Properties and designed by Adache Group Architects. Featured are three bedrooms and four baths in a little more than 2,000 square feet of modern living space displaying a mix of marble and wood floors, high ceilings, and walls of glass. All the furnishings are available for purchase at a negotiated price.

    A private elevator entry flows into an open-plan great room holding a living area boasting sliding glass doors spilling out to a balcony. An adjacent dining room connects to the kitchen, which is outfitted with Italian-style cabinetry, stone countertops, a center island, an eat-in peninsula, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and a wine fridge and built-in espresso maker. A glass-lined staircase heads downstairs, where a spacious primary suite features its own balcony, as well as dual walk-in-closets and a spa-inspired bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a shower.

    Topping it all off are plenty of building amenities—courtesy of a $1,568-per-month HOA charge—which include a clubhouse with fitness center, a pool and spa, and a barbecue and picnic area. There also are two assigned parking spots, one with a Tesla charger.

    Bosa, the son of former NFL player John Bosa and the younger brother of Joey Bosa, who is currently a linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers, agreed to a record five-year, $170 million contract extension with the 49ers in late 2023. That means the 26-year-old Florida native is the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history, with an average annual salary of $34 million. He is rumored to be looking for a new home on the West Coast.

      A Mortgage Mogul’s Waterfront Estate in South Florida Just Sold for a Record $30 Million

      Just 40 days after it hit the South Florida real estate market with a hefty $33 million ask, a lavish waterfront home in Fort Lauderdale’s gated Harbor Beach enclave already has sold for the still substantial amount of $30 million, as first reported by The Wall Street Journal.

      Broward County’s priciest real estate transaction so far this year, the deal also set a square footage price record for the area at $3,174 per square foot.

      But it’s not quite the most ever paid for a home in the region nestled between Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. That milestone occurred this past August, when a billionaire self-storage tycoon doled out $32.5 million for a 13,060-square-foot waterfront spec mansion in the Lauderdale Harbours community.

      Though the buyer is currently unknown, records show the seller of the Harbor Beach spread is Ronald Leonhardt Jr., the founder, president and CEO of Ohio-based CrossCountry Mortgage, who paid hotelier Mikhail Avrutin $23 million for the property a little more than two years ago.

      The double-height living area is spotlighted by a massive marble fireplace, walls of glass and an adjacent 200-bottle wine display.

      Completed on spec in 2021 by Randall Stofft Architects and Sarkela Corp., the mansion rests on a third of an acre, amid 120 feet of water frontage on the eastern side of the Intracoastal Waterway, and offers six bedrooms and nine baths sprawled across almost 9,500 square feet of two-level living space decked out with Duchateau oak floors, Terzani light fixtures, and walls of glass overlooking picturesque water and skyline views.

      Posh amenities range from a glassy wine display that holds 200 bottles and wet bar-equipped game room/lounge, to a roof deck and dock big enough to accommodate a mega-yacht.

      Additional highlights include a living room sporting a soaring marble fireplace, along with a “show” kitchen equipped with Italian cabinetry, an eat-in island, top-tier appliances, a breakfast nook and an additional prep kitchen. There’s also a sumptuous upstairs master retreat boasting a fireside sitting area and balcony, as well as dual closets and baths.

      The master retreat comes complete with two baths, including this one sporting a large oval soaking tub with a view.

      Outdoors, the grounds host a covered terrace ideal for al fresco entertaining, a barbecue area and lap pool embellished with fire features; and rounding it all out are a Crestron smart-home system, full-home generator and two attached garages with room for four vehicles, plus access to a residents-only beach club that has its own private marina.

      No stranger to the South Florida real estate market, Leonhardt also flipped two neighboring waterfront homes on Miami Beach’s Hibiscus Island in 2021 for an impressive $27 million.

      Lionel Messi Just Scored a Chic Waterfront Mansion in South Florida

      Lionel Messi continues to claim his South Florida turf! Not only does the professional footballer already own at least three multimillion-dollar condos in the Miami suburb of Sunny Isles Beach, but now he’s acquired a modern waterfront mansion in Fort Lauderdale’s affluent and guard-gated Bay Colony community.

      The latest splurge comes amid the signing of Messi’s new two-and-a-half-year, $150 million contract with MLS club Inter Miami CF, which is partly owned by David Beckham. The 36-year-old forward—a seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, a trophy given annually to the world’s best player—is coming off a stellar 17-year run with FC Barcelona and two-year stint with Paris Saint-Germaine FC, and he also led his native Argentina to an exciting 4-2 victory against France in the 2022 World Cup last December.

      As first reported by The Real Deal, the soccer star and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo doled out $10.75 million in an off-market deal for a luxe two-story home just minutes away from Inter Miami’s Drive Pink Stadium and the team’s adjacent training facility in Fort Lauderdale. Messi was repped in the deal by Samuel Simpkin and Donna Simpkin of Team Simpkin at Compass.

      Built in 1988, and last sold to John and Stacy Dickerson for $9 million in May 2022, the property features eight bedrooms and 10 baths in over 10,500 square feet of living space. Described in an older listing as a “carefully curated modern waterfront estate,” the two-story structure includes walls of glass that open to a sparkling pool with a waterfall, Baja shelf and spa, as well as a pair of docks resting along 170 feet of waterfront footage on the Intracoastal Waterway.

      The home’s Lori Morris-designed interiors are punctuated throughout with a classic black and white palette enhanced with pops of metal and jewel tones for warmth.

      Nestled amid a cul-de-sac, on a nearly half-acre parcel laced with palms, the stucco and wood-trimmed structure greets with a spacious motorcourt flanked by an attached three-car garage. An entryway featuring double front doors opens into sleek Lori Morris-designed interiors punctuated throughout with a classic black and white palette flaunting porcelain tile floors, plus pops of metal and jewel tones to add warmth.

      Among the highlights: a striking foyer topped by a cascading Murano glass and gold light fixture, which flows to a sunken living area boasting black velvet channel wall panels.       As for Messi’s other Sunny Isles Beach properties, records show he owns at least two units valued at a combined $10.3 million within the 60-story Porsche Design Tower, along with a $7.4 million full-floor condo at the Regalia building. He also reportedly purchased a place in the Bentley Residences building, which is set to be completed in 2026.
