Inside Kylie Jenner’s $80 Million Property Portfolio

Hidden Hills, a gated suburb about 30 miles west of downtown L.A., is one of the most celebrity-favored enclaves in all of Southern California. Madonna has lived there, so have Jennifer Lopez and Drake, along with a slew of sports stars. Prominent among the residents is the Kardashian-Jenner clan, with Kris, Kim, Khloe, and Kylie all maintaining lavish spreads there.

Jenner purchased her fourth property in Hidden Hills while still a teenager, in September 2016, for the very grown-up sum of $12.05 million. Spanning 13,200 square feet and set on 1.4 acres, the eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom Cape Cod–style home was built in 2015 and initially listed for nearly $13 million. Tucked away near the end of a cul-de-sac—and just a short distance from the Los Angeles Pet Memorial Park—the light-filled residence offers sweeping views of Los Angeles, a gourmet kitchen with two oversized islands, a great room with sliding glass walls, a custom theater, a game room with a wet bar, an office with a fireplace, a gym, and a massage room. A far cry from a typical 19-year-old’s bedroom, the primary suite includes dual walk-in closets, a stone-clad bathroom, and a large balcony with pastoral views.

Outside, there’s a covered patio, fire pit, pool, spa, and a six-car garage. A detached guesthouse adds to the appeal, complete with its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, sitting room, private entrance, and sunny courtyard. Jenner, who lives primarily in her lavish Holmby Hills home, is reportedly building another home in Hidden Hills.  More

Marvel Star Chris Evans Is Asking $7 Million for His Hollywood Hills Home

Back in 2013, around two years after he began his lucrative 11-arc foray as Captain America (a.k.a. Steve Rogers) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Chris Evans doled out $3.5 million for a serene Hollywood Hills retreat high above Mulholland Drive. Fast-forward a dozen years, and the actor’s estate is being shopped around for nearly $7 million. The off-market listing is exclusively held by Scott Moore of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.

Originally built in the 1940s, the split-level residence has been extensively updated and features a total of four bedrooms and six baths in roughly 4,600 square feet of modern Stewart-Gulrajani-designed living space accented with rustic hardwood floors and soaring exposed-beam ceilings. Large windows frame picturesque canyon and mountain views, while personalized amenities include a decked-out gym the actor used to train for his superhero roles and an expanded backyard touted as an “entertainer’s paradise.”

Floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the mountain-view family room open onto an alfresco dining terrace.

Holding court atop a hillside parcel spanning three-quarters of an acre—within a celeb-studded enclave that’s been home to A-listers the likes of Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel through the years—the beige stucco and stone-accented structure is hidden away behind greenery-encased walls and security gates that open onto a wide walkway that leads up to the front entrance.

Once inside, an elegant living room is warmed by a fireplace, a formal dining room sports a wet bar, and a spacious family room connects to a sky-lit gourmet kitchen boasting custom cabinetry, marble countertops, an eat-in island, and Miele, Thermador, Sub-Zero, and Wolf appliances. A posh primary suite tucked away in its own wing flaunts a private ipe-wood deck and a large dressing room, plus a marble-clad bath equipped with radiant-heated floors, a freestanding soaking tub, and a steam shower.

Garnering the most attention of all, though, are the lush grounds, which are laced with vineyard-inspired gardens shaded by a mature coral tree, a freeform pool and raised spa, a fire pit lounge, a trellised dining area, and a perch overlooking those sweeping vistas of Mulholland and Laurel canyons and the Santa Monica Mountains. There’s also a one-bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen, an office, and the aforementioned gym.

Evans has decided to let go of the house because he is spending more time with family on the East Coast, according to The Wall Street Journal. The 43-year-old actor was born and raised near Boston, where he began his career in school productions and community theater in the Massachusetts community of Sudbury. One of the top-grossing Hollywood actors of all time, People magazine’s 2022 “Sexiest Man Alive” most recently starred in the 2023 movie Ghosted and is currently set to appear in the upcoming rom-com Materialists.

Rob Zombie’s Two-House Compound in L.A. Can Be Yours for $9 Million

A pair of 1950s properties in Los Angeles long owned by heavy-metal musician and horror film director Rob Zombie (born Robert Bartleh Cummings) have simultaneously popped up for sale. Consisting of two side-by-side residences in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of Hollywood Hills crafted by architect Robert “Boulder” Thorgusen, the asking price for the entire compound is $9 million. The midcentury-modern homes are also listed individually by Rick Tyberg and Lauren Duffy of Douglas Elliman for $5.6 million and $3.4 million, respectively.

Tucked away behind a shared gated driveway, the charcoal-hued dwellings were acquired in two separate deals by Zombie and his actress wife Sheri Moon Zombie. The couple purchased the smaller abode almost a decade ago for $2.5 million and subsequently picked up the bigger place next door in early 2018 for $4.5 million. Together, the dual-parcel spread sits on just over seven tree-laced acres originally designed by noted landscape architect Garrett Eckbo.

9029 Hollywood Hills Road features moody living spaces and a lap pool flanked by a wood deck.

Containing a little more than 2,300 square feet with two bedrooms and an equal number of baths on a single level, the smaller home (above) was built in 1953 and boasts a folded roof, slate-clad floors, and walls of glass. Fronted by artistic spiked fencing and a pie-pan carport, the abode’s interiors are highlighted by a soaring living room donning the original raised-hearth fireplace, a dining area, and an eat-in kitchen outfitted with top-tier Miele and Gaggenau appliances.

Elsewhere is a fireside primary suite flaunting clerestory windows and a bath equipped with a freestanding soaking tub and a walk-in shower. An adjacent bedroom opens directly onto a garden, with the rest of the woodsy grounds hosting a raised spa and a lap pool flanked by a wood sundeck.

As for the larger of the two houses (above), which also features the same dramatic folding roofline, the late 1950s structure has three bedrooms and three baths filtered across 4,100 square feet of split-level living space accented with expansive skylights. Custom light boxes throughout are designed to “enhance mood, depth, and ambience,” per the listing.

A pool flows beneath the post-and-beam residence, while curated lounging and entertaining areas are joined by a secluded primary suite that comes with French doors spilling out to a private terrace and a two-way fireplace that connects to a spa-like bath sporting a built-in soaking tub and glassy corner shower. An adjoining flex space could be used as a studio, an office, or a gallery, while an alfresco dining area, a fire pit, a cascading waterfall, and a two-vehicle carport can also be found on the premises.

An L.A. Home With Ties to Leonardo DiCaprio and Adrian Grenier Can Now Be Yours for $25 Million

Though its coveted Bird Streets locale high above the Sunset Strip is indeed impressive, perhaps the most intriguing thing about this place is its Tinseltown ties. Not only does the posh pad just happen to sit right next door to a vast multimillion-dollar compound owned by Leonardo DiCaprio, it also has the added cachet of having served as the home of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) during the fourth season of the popular HBO show Entourage.

Canadian businessman Stan Bharti last picked up the estate from hospitality mogul Sam Nazarian as part of a clandestine off-market deal in 2011 for $14.5 million, with the property selling in just a week due to the unusual concierge service perks that went with it. Now the contemporary structure has popped up on the market again for a speck under $25 million, with James Harris, David Parnes, and Kris Everett of Bond Street Partners at Carolwood Estates sharing the listing.

Spanning 6,300 square feet, with a trio of bedrooms and half a dozen baths spread across three levels, the snazzy villa rests on a hillside parcel of nearly an acre and offers sweeping city lights and ocean vistas from almost every vantage point. A gated entry with water features opens to the all-white house, which has an attached three-car garage and private street parking that can accommodate several more vehicles.

A latticed screen hides the glassy front door, which pivots into a double-height entry foyer donning a transparent floor and a floating staircase. From there, the living room boasts a TV nook off to the side. Walls of glass also spill out to an alfresco entertaining balcony, which overlooks an amenity-filled backyard hosting a Viking-equipped kitchen, a sunken fire pit, a mirrored bar with a craft beer dispenser, and a curvaceous infinity-edge pool with a raised spa.

The backyard is spotlighted by a curving infinity-edge pool and an elevated spa.

Other highlights include a formal dining room and a piano lounge with a fireplace and bar, as well as a sleek kitchen outfitted with a marble-clad island, top-tier Miele appliances, and a butler’s pantry. The top-floor primary suite is another standout, flaunting a fireplace, a separate office, and a luxe bath holding a wet room with a soaking tub and steam shower, while the lower level features a bar and lounge leading to a movie theater that opens to the outdoors.

Bharti, founder of the Toronto-based merchant bank Forbes & Manhattan, recently sold a waterfront Florida mansion on North Bay Road in Miami Beach that was originally listed for $42.5 million. He acquired the glitzy estate from chicken restaurant magnate Christian de Berdouare and his former TV journalist wife Jennifer Valoppi in 2021 for nearly $30 million.

An L.A. Restaurateur and a Hollywood Actress Reimagined This $3.5 Million Lake Arrowhead Home

Lake Arrowhead has no shortage of cozy cabins and woodsy retreats, but a freshly rehabbed home in the exclusive, guard-gated community of Rainbow Point is setting a different tone—one that blends contemporary, big-city polish with rugged mountain charm. Dani Rosenthal of Wheeler Steffen Sotheby’s International Realty holds the $3.5 million listing.

The creative minds behind the project? Hospitality entrepreneur Beau Laughlin—known for shaping stylish L.A. eateries like Sawyer, Kettle Black, and Pinky’s—and his wife, actress Lindsey Gort, whose credits include The Carrie Diaries and Lucifer. Laughlin also has a design-build company, Framework, founded back in 2018. Along with Gort, they have since made a name for themselves in the residential arena, and together, the design-savvy couple has transformed the 4,380-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom mountain house in Lake Arrowhead into a serene, high-style sanctuary.

The ample kitchen stuns with curved corners, green cabinetry, Taj Mahal marble, and a La Cornue range.

    Gavin Cater

“We wanted the home to feel elevated but grounded—to reflect the beauty of the lake without overpowering it,” says Laughlin. That vision plays out in the soaring 22-foot wood-beamed ceilings, dramatic angular windows, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and custom walnut millwork that nods to the surrounding forest. The kitchen is a showstopper with sage green cabinetry, Taj Mahal marble counters and backsplashes, a La Cornue range, and handcrafted lighting by Gallery L7 and Ravenhill Studio. A massive T-shaped island with curved corners centers the space, flanked by fluted glass cabinets and open walnut shelving.

Elsewhere, you’ll find dual primary suites—one with a custom walnut bed, natural stone fireplace, and spa-worthy ensuite; the other offering lake views from a bespoke white oak bed. A cozy den with a wood-burning fireplace and wet bar opens to a secluded backyard with a hot tub, perfect for winding down after a day on the water. There’s also a fitness/yoga area, a sauna-style bath, a fully custom laundry room, and an EV charger, plus access to Rainbow Point’s private dock on Meadow Bay.

This isn’t the couple’s first joint residential project. In 2023, they put a $5.1 million price on their custom Palm Springs home, a striking, solar-powered desert retreat with a saltwater pool, San Jacinto Mountain views, and eco-conscious upgrades throughout.

“This home showcases a rare caliber of intentional design and sophisticated craftsmanship for Lake Arrowhead,” says Rosenthal. “It’s a game-changer for what luxury living can look like in the mountains.”

Singer Leona Lewis Just Listed Her L.A. Home With Sweeping Views for $4 Million

A little more than four years after British singer and songwriter Leona Lewis scooped up a Spanish-style villa with picturesque views framing the entire Los Angeles Basin, the X Factor winner best known for the 2007 hit Bleeding Love has decided to part ways with her home in the steep hills high above Studio City, asking a speck under $4 million. Benjamin Stewart-Kruger of Carolwood Estates holds the listing.

Previously owned by controversial YouTube celebrity Shane Dawson, who put the place on the market in 2019 after he and husband Ryland Adams bought a mansion farther out in the suburbs, it sold in May of that year for $2 million to fashion exec Maria Tomei Borromeo. She proceeded to completely renovate the spread before flipping it to Lewis and her choreographer-turned-entrepreneur husband Dennis Jauch in 2021 for $2.6 million.

The living room features panoramic views framed by a glass curtain wall.

Originally built in the early 1950s and thoughtfully enhanced by Lewis during her tenure, the creamy stucco and terracotta-roof structure is hidden away behind a lengthy gated driveway. Inside, three bedrooms and four baths are spread across almost 2,300 square feet of multi-level living space boasting a mix of stone and wide-plank French oak floors, arched doorways, and whitewashed wood-beam ceilings dotted with skylights. Walls of glass also offer up a look at the sweeping vistas across the San Fernando Valley from almost every vantage point.

Standing out is a fireside living room lined with folding steel-framed doors spilling outside. A dining area adjoins a green-hued kitchen spotlighted by marble countertops, a glass-tiled backsplash, a farmhouse sink, and high-end stainless appliances, while a cozy den has a winding staircase that heads up to a treehouse-like primary suite sporting a corner fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a bath equipped with a Victoria + Albert soaking tub.

An updated kitchen with mint-green cabinetry and a tiled backsplash connects to a breakfast nook.

The undeniable star of the show is the recently redesigned grounds, which are laced with fruit trees and drought-tolerant plants and host an enclosed courtyard holding a saltwater pool and an inset spa surrounded by a Saltillo-tiled terrace, plus a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, and multiple seating areas. A detached two-car garage on the nearly third-acre premises that Lewis used as a recording studio could easily be converted into an office or a gym.

Born and raised in London, the Grammy-nominated performer first achieved national acclaim in 2006 after winning the third season of the TV talent show X Factor. She subsequently released the hit single Bleeding Love and went on to record the official I See You theme song for the sci-fi film Avatar. Aside from her music career, she has also dabbled in acting and co-owns two vegan coffee shops in L.A.

Shepard Fairey Lists His Hillside Contemporary Home in L.A. for $4.7 Million

A multilevel home full of hope has just hit the market in Los Angeles. The $4.7 million spread is the residence of Shepard Fairey, the street artist best known for his 2008 stencil portrait of Barack Obama, then the Democratic candidate for president. Well known for his activism, Shepard also helped spearhead the “We the People” campaign that debuted during the Women’s Marches of 2017.

The contemporary abode, built in 2007 and acquired by Shepard in 2015 for about $2.5 million, sits on a steeply sloped street-to-street double lot in the Franklin Hills area of the Los Feliz neighborhood. An 18-foot glass entryway ferries you into the foyer, where a terrazzo-patterned floor is paired with handcrafted octagonal cherry-paneled faceted ceilings. A stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the sunken living room, while the sleek kitchen includes enough space for a spot to have a casual bite to eat.

The gleaming terrazzo floor in the dining room features a diamond-shaped wooden inset.

Jo David for Sotheby’s International Realty

Upstairs, the primary bedroom is accompanied by a sizable walk-in closet and a gray-green mosaic-tiled bathroom with a soaking tub. There are three additional bedrooms up here, along with a flex room that can serve as a gym, studio, or media lounge. Other features of the main residence include wooden built-ins, a tucked-away work area, a wine room, and a deck with sweeping views of the city surrounding you.

Notched into the beautifully landscaped slope below the main house is a lengthy swimmer’s pool, ideal for morning or evening laps. And set atop a multi-car garage is a glass-walled poolside guesthouse comprising an airy, one-room space equipped with a kitchenette and dining/lounge area, a desk, and a bedroom. Patricia Ruben and Alan Melkonyan of Sotheby’s International Realty—Los Feliz Brokerage hold the listing.

A swimmer’s pool is surrounded by lush landscaping.

Jo David for Sotheby’s International Realty

Fairey’s artistic work is held in the collections of many major museums, including the Smithsonian, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, but he is just as involved in the world of style. He founded the streetwear brand Obey in 2001, and in more recent years he’s teamed up with the watchmaker Hublot on limited-edition timepieces.

The 55-year-old artist and activist was born in Charleston, South Carolina. He’s lived in Providence, Rhode Island, and San Diego, California, but has been a resident of Los Feliz since at least 2005, when he shelled out about $1.4 million for a 1920s Mediterranean house that he sold in 2016 for $2.3 million to the actor Jason Segel.
