Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s Stylish LA Estate Hits the Market for $18 Million

After recently celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are calling it quits on their Hancock Park home after 7 years.

The former Black Sabbath frontman and his wife, host of The Talk UK, have just listed their 11,565-square-foot estate for $18 million in one of LA’s most affluent areas, according to the Los Angeles Times. The trophy property was built in 1929 by A.K. Kellogg. The historic home features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a movie theater and large swimming pool—sitting on over half an acre of land it’s the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour.

The swimming pool is covered in hand-laid mosaic tile

    Tyler Hogan

The Osbourne’s three-story dwelling is an ode to the rich history of the Hancock Park neighborhood, which dates back 100 years. The Spanish Colonial Revival-style mansion was meticulously restored to ensure that its architecture remained intact.

A wood-paneled library is one of the public rooms on the main level

    Tyler Hogan

From the inside, it boasts the most essential conveniences of modern life, with a velvet-lined screening room and grand chef’s kitchen, yet it remains stately in appearance. Arched doorways and wood-paneled built-ins speak to the age of the property while luxe furnishings and crystal chandeliers are in line with the family’s dramatic flair. A two-story foyer is among the manor’s most commanding elements.

A private screening room on the lower level is wrapped in red velvet

    Tyler Hogan

The one-time reality stars are said to have acquired the LA manor in 2015 from film producer Oren Koules. They paid $11.85 million for the home and if the current asking price is met, the Osbourne estate would be amongst the priciest properties ever sold in Hancock Park. Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, set a record earlier this year when her three-story mansion, previously owned by Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, was purchased for $21 million. All of this leaves us wondering which prominent figure will be next to inhabit the Osbourne’s abode.
The listing is held by Hilton & Hyland’s Jonah Wilson and Josh Greer. Check out more photos of the home below.

The Co-Host of ‘Botched’ Just Listed His Luxe Bel Air Mansion for $30 Million

This may be the house that Botched built, but there are certainly no mistakes here.

Sited on a private 1.3-acre hillside lot, the immaculate Bel Air mansion is the brainchild of Dr. Paul Nassif and has benefited from his fastidious eye. The Lebanese-American plastic surgeon, best known for co-hosting the E! Network’s hit reality series, first listed the property last year while it was still under construction. Now that it’s complete, Nassif’s prized pad has hit the market once again.

Penned by Bowery Design Group, the three-story abode spans just over 12,000 square feet and offers seven bedrooms and 14 baths. The interiors, brought to life by Faye Resnick, encourage indoor-outdoor living and there are alfresco entertaining areas on all three floors. That’s not the manse’s only drawcard, either.

A look inside the sophisticated residence.

    Alex Zarour

As you pass through the front gates and into the private motor court, you’ll be welcomed by the home’s textured stone cladding, cascading water features and striking glass walls. Inside, the living quarters are centered around a large atrium and a water wall. The décor is suitably luxe, with oak flooring and Italian travertine bathrooms throughout.
The generous layout comprises multiple lounge and dining areas, dual gourmet kitchens, an office, a 12-seat theater, a temperature-controlled wine room, and an indoor-outdoor gym with a steam room and sauna. Elsewhere, there are two guest suites on the second floor and four on the top floor. The primary suite, which is located on the third level, comes complete with a spa-style bathroom and dual closets. The staff quarters can be found on the lower level.

    Alex Zarour

Outside, meanwhile, a massive infinity pool with a Baja shelf and jacuzzi cascades down to a second 73-foot pool on the lower level. You’ll also find a large outdoor cooking area with a custom-made bar for entertaining. Last but not least, the home has two garages with enough room to park up to five of your rides.
Located at 1035 Stradella, the $30 million estate even comes with the enviable 90077 zip code. You can contact listing agents Mauricio Umansky of The Agency and Tomer Friedman of Compass for more information.

Bob Saget’s Former Brentwood Estate Just Hit the Market for $7.8 Million

Bob Saget may be known for a certain full house in San Francisco, but it’s the Hollywood great’s LA estate that could now be yours.

Located in the tony neighborhood of Brentwood, the 6,600-square-foot property was purchased by the late actor-comedian for $2.9 million in 2003, according to Adam Saget of Compass. Coincidentally, the listing agent is also the nephew of the Full House star.

Originally built in the 1960s, the two-story home was treated to a full renovation in the late 2000s just before Saget moved in with his three daughters. The former America’s Funniest Home Videos host, who died in January at age 65, later lived there with his second wife Kelly Rizzo.

Penned by Douglas Busch Design, the modern, architectural abode sports stone and hardwood flooring throughout, along with large windows that let in an abundance of natural light. The main level comprises a welcome foyer, a large living room with skylights, a dining room, a media room and a guest room. There is also an eat-in kitchen on this floor with a fireplace, breakfast counter, stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry.

Large windows throughout let in plenty of natural light.

    Jeff Ong/Postrain Productions

The remaining guest rooms are located on the upper level, along with a sizable terrace and the primary suite. Fit for an A-lister, the suite includes high vaulted ceilings, another fireplace, a private patio, a large walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom with a tub and steam shower. Adam Saget told Robb Report that “Bob was very into tech.” As a result, he installed smart house controls and automation all throughout the home.
The manicured grounds, which span around a third of an acre, feature a motor court, three-car garage, a swimming pool and a separate guesthouse with a full bath. The latter could also be used as a studio, office or gym. For those who prize their privacy, the property is also protected by a gated security wall.
“Personally, I’m going to miss our family gatherings and holiday celebrations we shared together in the home,” Saget told Robb Report in an email. “So many great stories, lots of laughs and memories to cherish for years to come.”
Ready to live like Danny Tanner? The Brentwood pad will set you back $7.8 million. The sale also perfectly coincides with the premiere of A Tribute To Bob Saget, a celebration of Bob’s life in comedy with his friends and family, which drops on Netflix on June 10.

Bob Hope’s $29 Million LA Home Has a Par-3 Golf Hole Designed by the Comedian Himself

British-American comedian and actor Bob Hope, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 100, had an illustrious and dynamic career in entertainment. What many don’t know, however, is he also had an impressive real estate portfolio.

One of his iconic homes at 10346 Moorpark in Toluca Lake is now being listed for $29 million. The home was built in 1939 for Hope and his wife, Dolores, who owned the home for the majority of their lives. Dolores held on to the home until her death in 2011 at the age of 102. The most recent owner and current seller is billionaire philanthropist and investor Ron Burkle, who bought the property for $15 million in 2018, and whose goal wasn’t to demolish the home, but to restore and preserve it.

    The open-plan living area

    Simon Berlyn

He is selling it now, and many hope that the future buyer retains this legacy Los Angeles estate. It was originally designed in English Traditional style by architect Robert Finkelhor, but in the mid-1950s, the Hopes enlisted John Elgin Woolf, the father of Hollywood Regency Style, to update the home with a more contemporary style. Except for a few modernizations made for today’s buyer, like updated fixtures and high-end finishes, the home’s character remains. This includes Hope’s oak library and a one-hole golf course he designed himself.
The property has seen some iconic moments, like when President Nixon landed Marine One on the back lawn so he could play a round of golf at the nearby Lakeside Golf Club.“Bob Hope to this day is the most iconic resident Toluca Lake has ever had,” says listing agent Kevin Dees of the Agency. “My favorite feature of the property is the legendary par-3 golf hole that Mr. Hope designed himself. The Toluca Lake property was the Hope family’s primary residence for decades. Countless dignitaries from around the world including United States presidents have visited the estate. I believe this property stands firmly at the top of Mr. Hope’s legacy.”

    The pool

    Simon Berlyn

The property spans just over five acres and features a main six-bedroom home (including two staff bedrooms), as well as a two-bedroom apartment. In total, there are 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. The home was certainly ahead of its time, with walls of glass that overlook the lush grounds, an open-plan living area with a stone fireplace and private outdoor terraces ideal for entertaining or simply retreating from the craziness of life.

The estate also features a home theater, gym, steam room and infrared sauna, as well as Hope’s original office that was the core of Hope Enterprises’ operations for the duration of the couple’s time at the estate. It was from here that Hope ran his lucrative businesses and production work. To top is off, there’s also a four-car garage, motor court, extensive security and three electric entrances.

The tennis court and tennis pavilion

    Simon Berlyn

Burkle enlisted Art Luna’s landscape design prowess to transform the property’s beautiful grounds. Outdoor amenities include a saltwater pool, tennis court, barbecue kitchen and lounge space. There are few more iconic homes in which to enjoy a quieter side of the Los Angeles lifestyle—and few homes you could own in which an entertaining icon relaxed and raised his family.

The Late Betty White’s Long-Time Los Angeles Home Just Hit the Market for $10.5 Million

Days after Betty White’s Carmel vacation home sold for well over its $7.9 million asking price, the late actor’s estate has listed another one of her charming California properties for $10.5 million.

Located in LA’s prestigious Brentwood Park, the colonial-style abode sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre and affords prime views of the iconic Getty Museum and nearby mountains. Originally built in 1952, the retro residence was purchased by the beloved Golden Girls star and her late husband Allen Ludden in ’68, just a few years after they married in ’63.

Spanning 3,029 square feet, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features an apt all-white façade that is juxtaposed with cheerful yellow accents and terracotta roofing. It offers a host of sweet amenities, too, including a pool, a three-car garage and an idyllic sunroom. To top it off, there’s a guesthouse where the Hollywood power couple played charades with fellow A-listers, such as Dinah Shore, Burt Reynolds and more.

A backyard view of the Brentwood property’s pool and guesthouse.

Naturally, the property is gated and sits back from the street to ensure there’s plenty of privacy. The huge, park-like grounds, meanwhile, will be perfect for hosting celebrities and other well-heeled guests.
“Betty White was a California girl through and through,” White’s estate said in a statement. “Despite living in New York when she and Allen Ludden were first married, she longed to be ‘back home’ in Los Angeles where she grew up.”

A distance view of the spacious backyard.

White, who was born in Oak Park, Illinois, won five Emmys throughout her prolific 80-year career, starring in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Proposal, Lake Placid and countless other hits. She died from a stroke in December 2021 but her memory lives on in this Brentwood home.
The listing is held by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Pacific Palisades Brokerage. According to the firm, this is the first time the property has been on the market in over 50 years. What’s more, it’s being sold for land value. This means the value of the land itself and any improvements that have been made to it are taken into account.
It sounds like a white-hot deal to us. More

After Just a Year, Madonna Relists the LA Home She Bought From the Weeknd for $26 Million

The ‘Queen of Pop’ is looking to flip her recent Los Angeles property grab.

Last April, Madonna purchased a 12,500-square-foot home from R&B star the Weeknd for $19.3 million. One year later, the OG Material Girl has relisted the 3-acre property at $25.995 million, or $6.7 million more than it was bought for—ensuring a sizeable return on investment. The house is located in the star-studded Hidden Hills neighborhood and also comes with a guest cottage.

Both structures combined house nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms and two half baths. The two-level main house boasts a minimalistic design dressed in white, with high ceilings and wide-plank wooden floors; the open-air design helps the space to feel large and airy.  Past the adjoining family room with a marble-framed fireplace lie a formal dining area, neon-lit wine cellar, an office and a screening room. All seven bedrooms are located on the second floor, including the master suite which has a huge walk-in closet and private terrace. It even has its own luxe marble-lined bathroom with a separate tub and shower, naturally.

Backyard view of the property’s infinity-edge pool.

    Redfin

As you venture outside, you’ll find a variety of amenities to keep you entertained. For starters, the property features an infinity-edge saltwater pool and an eye-catching orange neon basketball court. Horse breeders and riders alike will also be able to house their brood in the home’s eight-stall barn. And though the 63-year-old singer did add her own personal touches to the home, including a newly built gym and yoga studio, new owners may consider the property’s neon-lit, five-bay garage its crown jewel.

A look inside the master bedroom with a private terrace.

    Redfin

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, picked up the home for $18.2 million in 2017. While the “Blinding Lights” singer has since upgraded to a nearly $70 million mansion in Bel-Air, you’ll still find yourself surrounded with big-name neighbors like Drake, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and some of the Kardashians. Best of all, the home has a security gate and driveway that will keep unwanted visitors (and paparazzi) out and at a distance.
Representatives for Madonna didn’t say why she’s making this move, reports The Wall Street Journal. But it’s safe to say that, if sold for asking, this is a win-win situation for all parties involved. The Agency holds the listing; visit their website for more details.

Perry purchased the Beverly Hills estate in 2017 for $18 million, property records show. Neighbors include other A-listers such as Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Penelope Cruz and Adele, who are most likely drawn to the prestigious community for its high levels of security.

Cindy Crawford’s Former Malibu Beach Home Hits the Market for $99.5 Million

Fans of indoor-outdoor living, get your wallets ready. Cindy Crawford’s former beachside abode in California just listed, and it’s a dream for lovers of both nature and design.

With an asking price of $99.5 million, the listing is currently one of LA’s most expensive places on the market. The two-story home sits on three acres of land above the El Sol Beach in Malibu, and offers up to 7,450 square feet of living space to roam. Its Mediterranean-style exterior gives way to four beds and five full baths, an expansive wraparound deck with a fire pit and an outdoor pool area with cabanas and a fireplace. For exercise, you’ll be able to hit the property’s indoor gym or take a short walk down the driveway to its tennis court. A spa is also accessible for designated downtime.

A close-up aerial shot of the beach house.

    Adrian Anz

Designed with an open-air flow, the villa features floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and a great room that combines the living room, den, dining area and gourmet kitchen. In addition, your new primary suite will include a fireplace and sitting area, as well as dual spa-like bathrooms and a walk-in closet. Retired hedge-fund manager Adam Weiss told The Wall Street Journal he purchased the house for $45 million in 2018 from Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber. He and his wife, Yellowstone actress Barret Swatek, are now selling the home because they recently purchased another estate in Maui, Hawaii, for the same price.

Inside the open-air interior of the home.

    Adrian Anz

Weiss, co-founder of New York-based Scout Capital Management (which shut down in 2014), told WSJ he was drawn to the property for its “energy” and the proximity to nature and wildlife. “You wake up in the morning and you can see dolphins out the window,” he says. Sounds quite peaceful, right? Even better, you can follow the private walkway to the beach, which is almost like your own personal beach because there’s no easy public access point nearby. A popular bird habitat also sits on a small canyon to the south of the property and serves as protection from the coastal breeze, in-turn creating what feels like the house’s own microclimate.

The outdoor pool and deck with a fireplace.

    Adrian Anz

Light renovations have been made to the home over the past few years. This includes a reworking of the landscaping, removal of the concrete used for parking to create a grassy meadow and revamping the interiors. Weiss is waiting on his twin daughters to graduate high school before they relocate but doesn’t see the point of holding onto the home if the family won’t be spending time there, of course. “It’s a major property, so it’s about the ratio of the amount of work and time that has to go into really caring for it, versus how much time you’re going to spend there,” he explains.
