      Paris Hilton Just Snagged Mark Wahlberg’s Former L.A. Megamansion for $63 Million

      Mark Wahlberg sold his overly extravagant mansion in the exclusive guard-gated Beverly Park enclave of Los Angeles back in early 2023 for $55 million in an all-cash deal. Turns out the buyers were the same married Chinese billionaires who, just a few months earlier, had dropped another $55 million on reality TV personalities Terry and Heather Dubrow’s equally opulent spread in Southern California’s ritzy Newport Coast neighborhood.

      Now, some two years later, the actor and producer’s former L.A. spread has traded hands once again, this time going to hotel heiress and socialite-turned-business mogul Paris Hilton and her venture capitalist husband Carter Reum for a cool $63.1 million. Per The Wall Street Journal, the listing was held by Ginger Glass and Alexandra Glass of Compass, with Hilton’s brother Barron N. Hilton and his wife Tessa Hilton of Hilton Hilton repping the buyers.

      Custom-built over several years by Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham amid a vacant six-acre parcel they purchased in 2009 for $8.25 million, the compound was completed in 2014. Hidden away behind gates and protected by an elaborate security system, the property includes a château-inspired main mansion and additional structures—for a combined total of 12 bedrooms and 20 baths in 30,500 square feet, all of it boasting glitzy amenities ranging from a movie theater and mirrored gym to a wine-and-cigar cellar paired with a smoking and tasting lounge.

      Inside the primary residence, a soaring limestone-clad foyer greets with a bridal staircase before flowing to three levels highlighted by formal living and dining rooms, along with a two-story paneled library. A family room connects to a gourmet kitchen outfitted with two islands, and there’s also a posh primary suite sporting a fireside sitting area, a private balcony, and dual closets and baths.

The couple will also be required to pay HOA dues costing an eye-popping $6,427 per month.

      Hilton, who lost an oceanfront Malibu home she and Reum bought in 2021 for $8.4 million during the recent L.A. wildfires, still maintains a $5.9 million residence in the Mulholland Estates neighborhood of Beverly Hills and a $3.8 million penthouse in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood.

      Killers Guitarist Dave Keuning’s Modern Spanish Home in the Hollywood Hills Lists for $14 Million

      Professional rockstar Dave Keuning picked up a Los Angeles home almost four years ago and subsequently undertook a renovation. However, “Somebody Told Me” the seven-time Grammy-nominated co-founder and lead guitarist of The Killers has decided to sell his revamped residence in the Outpost Estates enclave of Hollywood Hills, asking a speck under $14 million. David Parnes, Sam Collins, and James Harris of Carolwood Estates share the listing.

      Records show Keuning and his longtime interior designer wife Emilie paid Grindr app founder Joel Simkhai nearly $9.6 million for the modern Spanish villa set high atop the Sunset Strip, which is about $500,000 below the $10 million Simkhai originally wanted. It’s also a million bucks less than the neighborhood record of $10.5 million that was set when the tech mogul bought the property in 2017, right around the same time he sold Grindr to the Chinese-based gaming company Beijing Kunlun Tech in two deals worth roughly $250 million.

More recently, records show he sold a house in the beachside community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea near San Diego and a condo in Las Vegas, where the band was formed by Keuning and Brandon Flowers back in 2001.

      French Artist Claire Tabouret’s Hand-Painted Home in L.A. Lists for $3 Million

      Her enigmatic portraiture graces the collections of billionaire businessman François Pinault and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others. But L.A.-based figurative artist Claire Tabouret is probably best known as of late for traveling to her native France to create new stained-glass windows for the nearly 1,000-year-old Notre-Dame Cathedral, which reopened last December after a devastating 2019 fire and an ensuing restoration.

      French officials chose Tabouret to replicate her vibrantly hued sketches of groups of people in prayer from a pool of more than 100 applicants, saying they hoped her work would “give the cathedral a flavor of the contemporary gesture that had been promised in the wake of the fire.”

      Though the stained-glass windows won’t be on view to the public until the end of 2026, an equally eye-catching display of Tabouret’s artistry can be found some 5,600 miles away, across the Atlantic Ocean, at a 1920s Spanish residence in L.A.’s Los Feliz neighborhood that she’s shared with her musician/carpenter husband Nathan Thelen for the past six years.

      Sited adjacent to the exclusive Laughlin Park enclave and currently listed for sale with Rob Kallick and Sara Kaye of Compass for a speck under $3 million, the creamy stucco and terracotta-roof structure is brimming with charming creative flourishes at every turn. Chief among them: a coffered wood-beam ceiling in the double-height living room boasting whimsical interpretations of scenes from the classic Rider-Waite-Smith tarot card deck, illustrated in the early 20th century by Pamela Colman Smith.

      Per Architectural Digest, which featured the home in 2022, there’s a robed noblewoman with a falcon on her arm, a kneeling nude pouring liquid from jugs onto water and land, and two lovers split apart by what resembles a compass. Nods to the couple’s domestic life are also thrown in for good measure, including one card with their dogs and another showing their daughter Mattea riding a horse.

      The country-style kitchen boasts a six-burner gas range from Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series.

      The ceiling established the mood for the rest of the three-bedroom, three-bath residence, which the pair purchased in 2019 for $1.7 million and subsequently updated. Standing out among the roughly 2,700 square feet of multi-level living space is a spacious upstairs primary suite sporting a pergola-shaded balcony, a custom wardrobe, and a tiled bath with a soaking tub and steam shower. There’s also a terracotta-hued dining room, a yellow breakfast room, and a family room bathed in a dusty blue shade.

      Atop the living room is a library loft, and elsewhere is an updated kitchen boasting a vintage-style range from Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series. A wall of arched French doors on the lower level open out to a courtyard garden, with the rest of the jasmine- and palm tree-laced grounds hosting several alfresco lounging and entertaining spots, plus an area that’s solely dedicated to the French lawn bowling game of pétanque.

      John Huston’s Former L.A. Ranch Has a Miniature Disney Railroad, and It Just Listed for $20 Million

      All aboard: A one-of-a-kind ranch in Tarzana, California, with its own fully operational miniature train, has just popped up for sale.

      The charming abode, which is on the market for $20 million with David Kramer of Compass and Paul Czako of Gussman Czako Estates, was originally built for Academy Award-winning actor-director John Huston in 1941. The late Hollywood legend, famous for The Maltese Falcon, The African Queen, and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, lived at the private estate back when the San Fernando Valley still had a Wild West vibe. He welcomed many big-name “cowboys” into his digs, including famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

      The 4.44-acre estate offers more than just an A-list pedigree, though. In 1959, the gated compound was snapped up by Gordon and Holly MacLean, friends of Disney and die-hard train collectors, who added one truly unique feature. With Disney’s input, the MacLeans built the Tunnel, Cut & Trestle Railroad: a 7.5-inch gauge track that allows a tiny train to wind through the grounds. The circuit includes bridges, turntables, road signs, and a 240-foot tunnel that is long enough to make you briefly forget you’re in Los Angeles. The dual-track system is no toy—it’s engineered to run steam, electric, and propane-powered engines, giving the new owner plenty of options for trains.

      Over the years, the railroad has become a neighborhood legend, hosting community rides and drawing in fellow rail buffs from the L.A. Live Steamers Museum in Griffith Park. Each owner has kept the tradition alive—and yes, a mini-train is included in the sale.

      The train runs past a red barn-turned-entertaining lodge.

Now, after his death last July, just one day after his 76th birthday, his longtime refuge has popped up for sale at a speck under $7 million. John A.       Built way back in the ’30s and personalized by Simmons during his tenure, the cream and white premises are tucked away behind walls and a gated motor court amid a hillside spanning over half an acre. A stately columned portico entryway flows inside, where four bedrooms and five baths are spread across a little more than 4,100 square feet of living space on multiple levels.

      Bosa, the son of former NFL player John Bosa and older brother of Nick Bosa, who is currently a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, agreed to a one-year, $12.61 million contract with the Bills in March. The 29-year-old Florida native, who was originally drafted third overall by the Chargers in the 2016 NFL draft, was the last remaining player on the lineup from when the team played in San Diego.
