Steve McQueen’s Former Idaho Ranch Hits the Market for $25 Million

Forget The Magnificent Seven. This Idaho estate is the magnificent 708.

Sitting on almost 260 acres of land at 708 East Fork Road in Hailey, Rockin’ B Ranch is a relatively new build on the site of actor Steve McQueen’s former pad. On the market for $25 million, the spread comprises a four-bedroom home built in 2021, an upscale equestrian barn, stocked ponds, pastures, and more. Delaney Fox of Fox Estates holds the listing.

A French limestone fireplace anchors the great room of the main residence.

    Kyle Jenkins

While the property has old-school celebrity ties—and actress Demi Moore has also long maintained a home in Hailey—it has since been brought into the modern age, with a contemporary, Western-chic main residence serving as your home base. Reclaimed wide-plank wood flooring, clay-wash plaster walls, and oak beams create a rustic feel throughout, while sculptural Apparatus light fixtures and Murano glass chandeliers double as art.

A French limestone fireplace anchors the great room, adding a cozy touch to the light and airy space. The nearby kitchen is outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, including a Lacanche range, a Sub-Zero fridge, and two Miele dishwashers. Thick, four-inch marble countertops provide ample prep space for home chefs. A pass-through window over one of the sinks opens to the patio, making for extra easy indoor-outdoor hosting.

The fully heated barn includes a gym on the second level.

    Kyle Jenkins

Out back, along with the alfresco dining setup and grill, there’s a large lounge area and fire pit overlooking a nearby koi pond. Next door, you’ll find the fully heated barn, which includes four horse stalls, tack and feed rooms, an office, and a half-bath. Upstairs, the second level has been turned into a gym, but it could easily become a guest suite if you’re in the market for more sleeping quarters. Walking through the ample grounds, you’ll come across the equestrian arena, more ponds, aspen and willow groves, and the banks of the East Fork River.

The ranch’s McQueen connection makes it an appealing property for any fans of the King of Cool. The late actor also kept a home in Malibu, an oceanfront estate with a private stairway to the shore. That abode hit the market in late 2022 for $17 million. Along with his property portfolio, McQueen was a collector of cars, and several of his vehicles have popped up for auction over the years. Most recently, RM Sotheby’s announced that it would be offering his 1952 Hudson Wasp, with an estimate of up to $60,000. He clearly had impeccable taste in both cars and real estate.

The Pharma Exec Behind Mounjaro Lists His 117-Acre Wyoming Ranch for $40 Million

A sprawling Wyoming ranch long owned by retired Eli Lilly Research Labs president Dr. Jan Lundberg has just hit the market. Perched on a ridgeline above the picturesque Jackson Hole Valley surrounded by the Teton Range, about 15 minutes from downtown Jackson, the 117-acre spread is for sale at a dash under $40 million. Latham Jenkins of Live Water Properties holds the listing.

Records show that the current pharmaceutical consultant—a key figure behind the development of the diabetes-turned-weight-loss drug Mounjaro—and his longtime wife Anna acquired the property in 2021. Set within the exclusive 500-acre Riva Ridge community and described as a “once-in-a-generation holding,” the compound was originally built in 2009.

A formal dining room with majestic mountain views opens to a patio with an outdoor kitchen.

Five en suite bedrooms and nine baths can be found in the hand-hewn log and stone-accented main lodge, which has a little more than 12,700 square feet across three levels. In addition to a soaring window-lined great room topped by a rustic antler chandelier and warmed by a massive fireplace encased in boulders, other highlights include a two-story library and a formal dining room that flows to a gourmet kitchen outfitted with custom cabinetry, dual islands, Wolf appliances, and a fireside breakfast banquette.

Elsewhere is a primary suite featuring a private deck and an inviting bath spotlighted by a sculpted marble soaking tub, plus an 1,800-bottle wine cellar with a tasting room, a tiered movie theater, a bar-equipped game room, and a gym with a sauna and steam room. A heated indoor pool and spa has accordion-style glass doors opening out to a patio overlooking one of three ponds.

Also on the completely off-grid estate is an underground tunnel that leads from the main house to a one-bedroom, one-bath guest suite atop a three-car garage that’s also outfitted with a greenhouse and a 45-kilowatt generator. There’s also a detached four-bedroom, four-bath guesthouse. And with nearly 70 percent of the overall acreage under a conservation easement that prevents development, the property also ensures wide-open views paired with plenty of elk, deer, moose, and raptor sightings.

Since retiring from Eli Lilly in 2018, the biopharmaceutical veteran has been using expertise to drive drug discovery and development at biotech firms, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions. In addition to their Wyoming estate, the couple also owns a waterfront home in Florida that serves as their primary residence.

Roseanne Barr Is Selling Her 46-Acre Hawaii Ranch for $2 Million

Roseanne Barr is ready to part ways with a piece of her post-sitcom chapter. The 72-year-old comedian and actress is putting her 46-acre macadamia nut farm in Honokaa, Hawaii—best known as the backdrop of her 2011 Lifetime reality series Roseanne’s Nuts—on the market for $1.95 million.

Set along the Big Island’s verdant Hamakua Coast, the estate reflects both Barr’s personal reinvention and her deep connection to Hawaii, where she relocated in 2007. The farm became a stage for her exploration of self-sufficiency and organic farming, far from the spotlight that first made her a household name.

RELATED: Barack Obama’s Former Hawaiian Vacation Home Lists for $14.9 Million

Barr’s 46-acre macadamia nut farm in Honokaa, Hawaii, appeared on her reality show Roseanne’s Nuts.

    Hawaii Realty Solutions

Barr’s trajectory in Hollywood has been anything but ordinary. She broke out in 1985 with a stand-up set on The Tonight Show and rose to fame as the matriarch of the Conner family on ABC’s Roseanne, a role that earned her an Emmy Award in 1993. After The Roseanne Show, a two-season talk series, she dabbled in reality television with Roseanne’s Nuts. Her eponymous sitcom was briefly rebooted before Barr’s departure; the network retooled the show as The Conners.

For Barr, the Hawaii farm was a grounding counterpoint to Hollywood’s turbulence. “I had always traveled yearly with my family to Hawaii—it was an essential summer getaway,” Barr tells Robb Report. “As my son grew older, we found that HPA (Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy) was offering him a much better education than he was getting on the mainland. We decided to move here, and when I purchased the property in Honokaa, we also wanted to build a sustainable home and help feed struggling families in Hawaii.”

A spacious lanai offers panoramic views of the ocean and the orchard.

    Hawaii Realty Solutions

The farm is as abundant as it is picturesque. More than 4,000 macadamia trees spread across rolling acreage, complemented by avocados, finger limes, apple bananas, and tangerines. At the center sits a 2,716-square-foot residence with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. A broad lanai frames sweeping ocean and orchard views, while the grounds feature a pool with a waterslide, a pool house, an art studio, a greenhouse, a bamboo outdoor shower and soaking tub, and a garage/workshop.

The property gained pop-culture visibility when Roseanne’s Nuts premiered in 2011, following Barr, her partner Johnny Argent, and son Jake Pentland as they tried their hands at farming. The 16-episode series captured Barr’s famously irreverent approach to life. It also featured celebrity cameos from Phyllis Diller and Sandra Bernhard.

The main house has four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.

    Hawaii Realty Solutions

“Aside from growing food to feed people, I really loved sharing my family with the world through the show,” Barr recalls. “It was special to work with my real-life family—before that, I had actors playing them, so it was a refreshing change of pace. My favorite memory—and from what I hear, a favorite for many others—was tearing through the landscape on my tractor. I felt so wild and free! The land, the farming, and the spirit of Hawaii are truly good for the soul.”

Listing agent Paul Stukin of Deep Blue HI says the offering is as much about cultural legacy as it is about land. “I’ve represented many iconic properties, but this one stands apart,” he says. “With macadamia sustaining Hawai‘i’s economy, the farm shows how land and community thrive together.”

The grounds include a pool with a waterslide, an art studio, and a greenhouse.

    Hawaii Realty Solutions

After nearly two decades of stewardship, Barr is ready to hand it over. “Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart, but I’m getting too old to do as much as I used to,” she says. “I would love to see someone else take over and continue to share the spirit of Ohana.”

That transition underscores a broader shift in her life. “I’m inspired to sell because, frankly, I’m just too damn old to keep doing this,” she admits. “The land deserves someone with the spirit and energy to care for it the way it should be. I still own a smaller property in Waimea and now live in Texas, where I’m involved in many exciting projects. I simply don’t have the time to give this place the love and attention it truly deserves.”

Jake Paul Drops $39 Million on a Legendary Georgia Sporting Ranch

Jake Paul has been talking about buying a ranch for most of his life. Now, at 28, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has done just that—only on a scale few could have imagined. In a deal that quietly closed in April, Paul paid $39 million for Southlands, a nearly 5,700-acre sporting plantation in Georgia’s Decatur County. The sale, brokered by Jon Kohler and Walter Hatchett of Jon Kohler & Associates, is one of the largest recreational land transactions in the Peach State’s history.

Paul revealed the purchase earlier this month on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, saying he used the roughly $30 million he earned from his 2024 boxing match against Mike Tyson to fund the deal. “I’ve wanted to buy a ranch for the last 15 years,” he said. “I wanted a place where I can wakesurf, hunt, and build a racetrack.” He also spoke about growing his own vegetables and spending time in nature, drawing inspiration from childhood visits to a cabin with his father.

The main lodge has eight bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.

    Jon Kohler & Associates

Paul, who also owns a $16 million mansion in Puerto Rico, chose one of the South’s most storied estates. Southlands, dating back nearly a century, was originally assembled as a 26,000-acre tract by pioneering conservationist Herbert Stoddard, co-founder of the nonprofit organization Tall Timbers. In 1937, Rhode Island senator and industrialist Houghton Metcalf bought the land and built a lodge overlooking what’s now Lake Seminole.

The property spans 5,700 mostly undeveloped acres.

    Jon Kohler & Associates

By the late 1950s, International Paper had taken over, transforming it into a teaching forest and southern headquarters for its 12-million-acre timber empire. The property remained under corporate ownership until 2010, when philanthropist and land investor Jim Dahl acquired it as part of a 160,000-acre deal. After reselling much of the land, Dahl hung on to Southlands as his crown jewel.

There’s a stocked lake for fishing, in addition to a 30-acre duck pond.

    Jon Kohler & Associates

Today, the plantation includes 4.5 miles of lake frontage, a stocked fishing lake, a 30-acre duck pond, vast irrigated fields, and five miles of spring-fed creeks with waterfalls. Wildlife is abundant—wild quail, trophy whitetail deer, and turkey thrive here—and the land is managed to the highest standards.

The main lodge, perched on a bluff, has eight bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. There’s also a new horse barn for quail hunts, a manager’s residence, a guest house, and multiple outbuildings, all surrounded by pine forests and long, private roads.

In the podcast, Paul called the property a dream come true. And, of course, for the right kind of land buyer, Southlands always has been.

A Colorado Ranch Tied to Walmart’s Founding Family Seeks $48.5 Million

A sprawling Colorado ranch owned by the Walton family just hit the market. Nestled amid a scenic alpine valley tucked into the peaks of the Front Range, about 30 minutes from Boulder and just outside the historic town of Nederland, the entire spread is asking a substantial $48.5 million. That includes several structures paired with a wealth of recreational pursuits, plus the notoriety of having once served as an 1880s mining base camp, an Arabian horse-breeding operation, and a recording site for legendary musicians ranging from Michael Jackson to Stevie Nicks.

“The rarity of the Caribou Ranch officially presented back to the market is just that: an incredibly rare opportunity,” says listing agent Jeff Buerger of Hall and Hall. “The true rareness of this property includes its location, accessibility, privacy, landscape, views, infrastructure, diverse topography, abundance of surface water, unique history, and overall physical features.”

The storied recording studio at Caribou Ranch spawned more than 45 top-10 albums, 18 Grammy awards, and 20 No. 1 Billboard hits.

    Hall and Hall

As first reported by The Wall Street Journal, the owner of the 1,700-acre spread is a Colorado-based LLC easily linked to Walton Enterprises, a family office of the Walton family. Widely known for their ownership of the Walmart retail empire founded by the late Sam Walton in the early 1960s, the Waltons have an estimated combined net worth of around $267 billion, per Forbes, which makes them one of the world’s richest families.

Per records, Indian Peaks Holdings purchased the ranch in spring 2014 in two separate deals totaling $32.5 million from music producer Jim Guercio, who originally bought more than 4,000 acres in the area in 1971. During his 40-year tenure, the ranch served as a destination recording studio that hosted more than 150 artists, with Elton John and John Lennon notably recording “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” there in the summer of ’74. Ending its run after a fire damaged the premises in the mid-’80s and since refurbished, the studio was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2017.

Encompassing multiple parcels, the vast ranch has a dated two-story main home of 9,133 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, stone fireplaces, a front porch, and a walk-out basement. There also are five guest cabins measuring in size from 554 square feet to 3,126 square feet, as well as a six-bedroom lodge with a gathering space, two horse barns, and a couple of equipment buildings.

Ponds and running streams can be found throughout the 1,700-acre property.

    Hall and Hall

Also on the grounds is an abundance of wildlife, including moose, deer, turkeys, mountain lions, black bears, and elk, along with access to outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, and fly fishing in numerous streams and ponds. Upping the appeal, per the listing, is the opportunity to build on 10 acres of the ranch’s mostly conservation easement-protected land with approval from Boulder County.

Though Buerger declined to confirm the owner’s identity in an article by The Denver Post, he did say his client purchased the land for his family’s use, and now that his children are grown, it’s time to sell. “For my client, it’s family first,” he said. “They’ve enjoyed it, but that phase of their life is moving on, and so are they.”

‘Dallas’ in Oregon? Patrick Duffy’s Riverfront Ranch Is Headed to Auction

Last year, Patrick Duffy’s longtime Oregon ranch hit the open market for $14 million. Even though the price was later reduced to $11 million, the picturesque property never found a buyer, so the Dallas star is now auctioning off the compound to the highest bidder.

Spanning about 330 acres, the so-called Duffy Ranch is located outside of Medford in the city of Eagle Point and will go under the hammer from December 7th until the 14th in a no-reserve auction. According to Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions, who will be handling the sale, starting bids are expected to be in the $3 million to $5 million range.

An Oregon ranch owned for more than 30 years by actor Patrick Duffy is headed to auction.

    Provided by Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions

The TV legend, who starred alongside pop culture icon Suzanne Somers in the family sitcom Step by Step, has owned the Staley Road residence for over 30 years. Duffy and his late wife, Carlyn Rosse, bought the home in 1990 for $1.5 million. “It was pristine,” he told Mansion Global. “There was no paved road. There were some trails through the woods and about a mile—a little less than a mile—of river frontage.”

The property has multiple homes, cabins, and outbuildings across its 329 acres.

    Provided by Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions

Together, they spent $3 million and the better part of two decades buying up surrounding properties to expand their compound and began living there full time in the early 2000s. Today, the ranch is made up of nine separate parcels, which include two homes, two guest cabins, a recreation pond, and two miles of Rogue River frontage. “The river is the only reason that we considered buying this property,” Duffy said in a video posted to the Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions website, which you can check out below.

    [embedded content]

The main house dates back to the 1950s and resembles a traditional lodge—there’s a screened porch and everything. The home sits on a whopping 79 acres of land with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and roughly 3,000 square feet of living space. Plus, you’ll find a wood-burning fireplace, hardwood floors, and wood beam ceilings inside. What’s surprising is that it also includes an art gallery, in addition to a wine cave and a spa cabin. Elsewhere, the couple also converted one of the outbuildings into an indoor lap pool.

In 2022, Duffy told Mansion Global that he’d like to relocate to California or Colorado. Currently, his sourdough starter business, Duffy’s Dough, is based in the Centennial State.

Patrick Swayze’s Former Los Angeles Ranch Hits the Market at $4.5 million

The year after he was launched into silver screen notoriety in the notable 1983 films “The Outsiders” and “Uncommon Valor,” but still several years before he shimmied and dipped his way to leading man superstardom in “Dirty Dancing,” late actor Patrick Swayze acquired an equestrian ranch on the outskirts of Los Angeles that he named Rancho Bizarro. Swayze, a licensed pilot who died of pancreatic cancer at 57 years old in 2009, raised Arabian horses on the property.

Newly listed for $4.5 million, the 4.5-acre spread in Sylmar is tucked into the rolling foothills that mark the northern boundary of the sprawling San Fernando Valley. Records show the current owner is an LLC linked to oil heiress (and climate activist) Aileen Getty, who purchased the ranch from Swayze’s widow, Lisa Neimi, in 2015 for $2.9 million.

The late actor bought the 4.5-acre ranch in 1984 and owned it until the time of his 2009 death.

    Jeremy Spann

At the time the property was last sold, it was in a state of neglect. It has, however, been transformed into a boho-chic equestrian retreat that’s a surprisingly quick commute to many parts of Los Angeles. The multiple structures include an updated three-bedroom ranch house that dates to the 1940s, a guest cottage, and a detached garage.

The rambling main residence includes a wood-paneled living room with a fireplace and exposed ceiling architecture, while the kitchen is open to a dining room housed in a glass-roofed solarium. A huge room with a vaulted and beamed ceiling is outfitted as a gym. The primary suite, which spills out to a stone terrace, is kitted with a projector that drops from the ceiling at the end of the bed, a spacious bath with a jetted tub, and an expansive walk-in closet and dressing area.

The equestrian estate includes an 11-stall barn and a lighted riding ring.

    Jeremy Spann

A massive, river-stone-paved motor court stretches out between the main house and the detached garage. And, set away from the main house amid mature trees and surrounded by lawn, the cute-as-a-button guest cottage has a bathroom, fireplace, and bold, jungle-themed wallpaper on the walls and ceiling.

Equestrian facilities include an 11-stall horse barn with a tack room, laundry room, and a couple of grooming stalls. A clubhouse, which includes a bathroom, is positioned to observe the professionally lighted and mirrored riding arena. There are a couple of resident goats, Cocoa and Caramel, as well as a couple of ducks named Baby and Johnny.

Louise Leach and Juan Longfellow at Deasy Penner Podley share the listing with Brett Lawyer at Carolwood Estates.

Kris Kristofferson’s Sprawling Northern California Ranch Hits the Market for $17.2 Million

Country superstar Kris Kristofferson has placed his Northern California ranch of almost 40 years on the market. Nestled on 557 lush acres outside of Elk, about three hours north of San Francisco, the retired singer-songwriter recently listed the sprawling oceanfront compound for a cool $17.2 million, The Wall Street Journal first reported.

Kristofferson originally bought the ranch in 1980 and, over the decades since, has leased a good chunk of the land for cattle grazing, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise. He is a Texas native, after all.

Kris Kristofferson put his Northern California ranch up for sale

    Anthony Wells/Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty

“The ranch has always been a place of creativity and inspiration,” the A Star Is Born actor told the newspaper. Dating back to the 1800s, the legacy ranch began as a dairy farm and still includes some of the original structures. In addition to the 2,400-square-foot barn that Kristofferson and his wife used as a vacation house, there is also a 1,900-square-foot ranch house, a dairy barn, and a feed barn, all of which are in need of a little TLC.

Listed for $17.2 million, the compound includes original buildings from its beginnings as a dairy farm

    Anthony Wells/Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty

As it stands, the property features 300 acres of open pasture and approximately 250 acres of forestland that are dotted with old-growth redwood and fir trees. Offering up a mile of Pacific Ocean frontage, the property sits right below Devils Basin. Given the scale and location, there’s a possibility that the land could be subdivided or even expanded upon. “I grew up here, and this property, in a lot of ways, is steeped in history,” Justin Nadeau of Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty told the WSJ. “Nobody has seen a property like this one come to market.”

The property measures over 550 acres

    Anthony Wells/Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty

Kristofferson and his wife still own another home in Hawaii, on Maui, which has become their main residence. As for the ranch, Nadeau added at the time of the listing that the couple feels like “it’s time to let it go and move on.”
